I run Windows7. I have a locally attached Samsung SCX-4623F printer.

I cannot print emails from Windows Live Essentials (microsoft) - the print button allows you into the print wizard. Once you press "PRINT" It just does nothing. No error message.

I can print any attachments, just not the actual email content.

If I copy and paste to MSWord, I can print. Not ideal.

I can also not print from the Windows Photo Viewer. If I open the jpeg with Paint it prints. If I open with Photo viewer, I get into the wizard, can choose options etc. But when I press PRINT it just sits there looking at me and doing nothing until I press cancel. Result - no print. (Looks like the same software routine)

I tried the repair & restart route - it made no difference (currently on windows live essentials 16.4.3528.0331)

I have the latest updates installed.

Would be great to print directly.

I am having the same problem. Live mail is downloading my entire inbox from my btinternet.com account over and over. It includes emails I have read and deleted. I now have 10000 emails in my inbox all multiples but with no way to go through and delete the ones I don't wish to keep. 
This is the account I use to run my business and is causing a major headache. I have deleted the account and recreated it and this at least got rid of the duplicates but showed every email as unread. I was working my way through them tidying it up and it downloads the whole lot again, and again and again.

A simple solution to this would be very welcome.

I'm running Windows Live Mail 2012 (Win 7 Home Premium). I use different email accounts for my 2 separate companies.

Can I use different stationery /signature lines for each email account?  When I try to create new stationery/signature line for my newest email account, it changes my original stationery/signature line.

I have deleted email messages, later when I re-open my email the message will re-appear in my inbox. When I click on it to delete I get "An Unknown Error Has Occurred".   In the preview pane it shows Message cannot be found, the contents of this message cannot be found, unknown error.  I am using Windows 8.1

I am unable to receive SOME emails from contacts in my contacts folder, and some of the emails I send to contacts are not received.  I have gone to the SAFETY OPTIONS, then SAFE SENDERS,  then checked both boxes labeled "Also trust email from my Contacts" and "Automatically add people I email to Safe Senders List."  But I still have contacts who are replying but their messages are not getting through.

Using WLM 12 on Win 7.

When I send messages from a hotmail account the sent message appears instantly in the sent folder.

When I send messages from my webhost email account (IMAP) the messsage is sent and received, but the message does not appear in the sent folder. It shows in the stored sent items.  How to correct?

I have been using live mail in windows version 8.1 without a problem. For the past week, I have been getting requests for the password.  After entering the password, I continue to be asked for the password.  I have several email accounts, and when you click on the send and receive, you may or may not get a request for the password, and if I do, it may be for 1 email address one time and another email address the next time.  Does anyone know what the problem is and how to correct it?
