Please help!!

I can no longer open email. It get the message that "a problem has ocurred". No message code numbers. I have Windows 7 with Live Mail Essentials 12.  I have tried repairing as instructed and have removed and reinstalled. I can get the e-mail through my browser and on the lap top and tablet! Just not the desk top.

What is the next step?

I exported my 1929 contacts from Windows Live 2011 and saved as a  csv file (excel) but when I try to import them to my new Dell, Windows Live 2012 only 45 are actually imported , with no error message. I'm dying here...Thanks, John

Both have windows 7.  Up until last night windows live mail was working fine.  Now one computer works fine the other computer  will not send or receive live mail.  I tried uninstalling windows live essentials that did not cure problem, tried system restore did not help.  I am receiving Unable to send or receive messages for the Hotmail user  account.

Server Error: 0x80048820

My wife's windows 7 laptop died but the hard drive survived.  She bought a new windows 8 laptop and would like to move her contacts to the new system.  I put her old hard drive into an external usb case.  I can read files in that.   I tried changing the boot order on my Windows 7 desktop and her new Windows 8 laptop to use the external USB drive as a boot drive with hopes of starting her old version of WLM and exporting the files.  Those efforts were unsuccessful even with the use of the windows system repair disc.

If I can get the file default file names and the locations WLM uses, I can put them in my Windows 7 desktop that has WLM.  ( I'd temporarily rename those files already  in my system before copying hers into that location so as to not trash my installation.  I know those files are hidden and protected.  I'd also uncheck "hide protected operating system files.

She has hundreds of business contacts and is not winning any congeniality awards during this crisis.  We both back up files weekly, but until this problem I never thought to periodically export and save mail and contacts too.

Thanks for any assistance you can provide.

When trying to import contacts, contacts menu doesn t appear

thanks

Suddenly I cannot send group messages on Live Mail.  I can send individual messages, but when I try to send group messages I get a "This message could not be sent, type an email address for one or more recipients in the to, cc or bcc box"   I have talked with my service provider and the numbers I use in my groups is not the issue.  I send to several groups ranging from 6 ot 30 addressees.
Windows Live Mail 2012. When I reply to a message, the person receives the response, BUT when I go to my sent mail items, I only see the original message not what I typed as a reply. If I log into hotmail.com and check the sent items there, everything is fine (I see the original message and my response).

Save copy of Sent messages in the Sent items folder is already checked. Windows live recognizes that I sent a message, it just isn't including what I typed.
