Making a new message and adding an attachment. If I change my mind and try to remove the attachment the program stops responding. If I forward an email and try to remove the attachment the same happens.
I've tried all the fixes but can't clear the fault.
Does anyone have a fix please?
Due to a glitch with my ISP, I lost 5 months of deleted emails while working on someone else's computer using my ISP's webmail system. Usually, I access my email through WLM on my computer, using an IMAP server with the ISP. However,I found the emails still existed on my computer in the folder C:Users logon AppDataLocalMicrosoftWindows Live Mail. I took my computer offine and created a folder with all the deleted emails in it and I would like to be able to restore these emails. How do I do so? When I tried to import them through WLM, I get the following error message:
As far as I can see, no other application is using the file I created but WLM doesn't seem to recognize them. Any ideas?
I accidentally 'refreshed' my PC instead of 'restoring' it.
When I restarted my computer, my live mail icon was gone. I reinstalled it, and reconfigured my email. (I use a local server).
However, all of my saved emails and folders were gone.
The emails that were stored on the server are still there...but the server only stores emails for a week.
I have years and years of saved emails. Please help!
I am getting this code since I tried to email a photo. I am not very computer knowledgeable and this is a new computer. I don't want to have a service call for this problem Please help...

I set up a mail account in Windows Live Mail using IMAP (non-Microsoft account - my mail provider allows IMAP). This works on one computer - however I can see only the Inbox folder in Windows Live Mail - the server has more folders Sent and Thrash. Also, I tried to create more folders in Windows Live Mail under the IMAP account, but the program will not allow me to create the folders.
Another issue: I tried to set up the same IMAP account in Windows Live Mail on a laptop. The connection seems to work, but it won't allow me to download IMAP folders. So unfortunately it's not going smoothly as one would have hoped. Thank you.

Thanks to Firedog I was able to sync Contacts with Windows Live Mail Contacts on the iPhone at long last (as instructed on this thread http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windowslive/forum/livemail-sync/windows-live-mail-not-hotmail-sync-contacts/f490c207-1080-46a8-aae5-af3d4f992888).
This is set up by singing into the Microsoft account in Windows Live Mail for both Contacts and Calendar. However, there are more contacts in the iPhone which do not show up in Windows Live Contacts. How do I get all of them? Many thanks. I also have another question regarding IMAP folders - as it is a different issue, I'll have to post a new question on that.
