I am a volunteer with a non profit group and use my home computer to send out emails about work schedules, events etc. I have about 250 names  and they are broken down into 7 different groups. When I try to send an email to Group A, sometimes it will go all, sometimes to one, sometimes to 5/6. And it is the same with all the groups.  What am I doing wrong. I have Windows 8.1.

I never had this problem with Group mailing  in my old laptop using Windows Mail(as opposed to Windows LIVE mail  that I now have) .

If anyone has a solution, please explain in simple terms, I am not that computer literate for technical terms.

Today, I did not receive an email from a client. They later re-sent it, at which time I received. At the same time, when I was downloading my email, the first time. The download box showed, 'receiving 1 email'. That email turned out to be a previously downloaded message from 1 month ago, which now appeared as unread?

Can anyone tell me what might be going on?

Thanks,

Jon

This problem is very easy to fix if this is an IMAP mail folder.

You may notice that your drafts aren't saving either, in fact nothing is going into the folders from your computer when you produce a mail. You may find that mail produced from other devices appears, but not the mail from your windows 7 computer. You may also notice that your folders, Drafts, Junk E-mail, etc are not positioned at the left hand side of the list, but are in fact tabbed across a bit, right of the inbox. Is this so?

The Solution is simple:

1) Right Click on the account and open Properties

2) Go to the IMAP tab.

3) Enter "Inbox" into the Root folder path *AND HERE's THE TRICK: IT MUST BE "Inbox", not "inbox" the entry is case sensitive.

4) Press apply and let the folders reorganise themselves. They should now reload and all be on the left hand side.

Done. New sent items, drafts etc will now move to the correct folders.

OMG!!!!!! I did this, and now none of my folders show up! Are they deleted or where did they go and how do I get them back???

Yikes!

I use windows live mail for all my email accts.  My primary acct email I am not receiving, My other msn accts emails are working fine

Noticed the other day my primary msn email address was not receiving mail

Server Error: 4102
Server: 'https://mail.services.live.com/DeltaSync_v2.0.0/Sync.aspx'
Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x8DE00001

I setup four email accounts in Live Mail with msn.com being my default.

Each time I review my email I noticed that the email received on my xxxxxx. net account also shows up in the msn.com email account.

How do I stop the email from my xxxxx.net account from showing up in msn.com account?  No rules or forwarding in effect or at least none that I know about!

I want to maintain four separate accounts.  Worked fine up until I upgraded computer and re-established my accounts in Live Mail

I too, am having the exact same issue with contacts, starting a few days ago, but am using Windows Live Mail (2009) on a Windows XP system.

Email and calender events are syncing normally with Outlook.com and on an Iphone.

I notice that when I "Sync Everything" that all the email folders as well as  "update Calender Events" appear in the box and are each checked in order. there is no listing for contacts.

I have done the Windows Live Repair from Control Panel.

Thanks for looking into this,

Robert Garrett

I have installed windows live mail 2012 on my new pc and everything works except it won't send messages.

I have set up an IMAP Account and continue to get the following dialog;

I click wait and it temporarily goes away then pops back up a few minutes later, the cycle continues.

I have verified the necessary IMAP/Server settings from the host and the account has them correctly yet

I cannot download anything.

I have other accounts connected to Windows Live Mail as well and they are working fine, however, previous

searched forums have noted to run a repair to Windows Live Mail.

My question is will repairing windows live have any negative effect on my currently working accounts, i.e., will

they get removed and need to be set up again?
