Windows Live Mail FAQ
Hey everyone i seem to be getting a box pop up when i try open my windows live mail it says microsoft visual c++ runtime libary
Runtime error!
Program c:program files (x86)windows livemailwlmail.exe
R6030
-Crt not initialized
Any help would be much appreciated cheers.
I have an HP Envy Phoenix 180-140 Tower PC running Windows 8.1 on which the access to my e-mail account was through Windows Live Mail. Unfortunately it developed a fault and it was shipped back to HP for investigation and repair. It turned out to be a CPU failure. I've recently got it back but I'm unable to find my access my e-mails. My Service Provider 'Orange Webmail' has had a go but tells me that they although Windows Essentials is visible the Windows Live Mail is not responding.
I'm wondering if I should remove the original Windows Essential programme and download the latest version but before I do it I thought I'd ask a question on this forum and see if anyone else can offer advice on my problem.

OT: Just started with the same issue after receiving email stating "Security info was replaced"
Unable to send or receive messages for the Hotmail (xxxxxxxxx) account.
Server Error: 3204
Server: 'https://mail.services.live.com/DeltaSync_v2.0.0/Sync.aspx'
Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x8DE20003
Only happening on the account where my security info was changed by me 30 days ago.....any connection?

| Good news! The waiting period you started 30 days ago is over, and your old security info has been replaced with (MY PHONE NUMBER). No further action is required. |
