I can not any longer send photos in windows live mail. It says that there is an error publishing photos. Windows live mail error ID 0x800C0014

and something about SMTP protocol and Secure SSL: No

I went and did the repair all window live programs but it didn't work.

I followed the suggested repair for the delete button not working in windows live Mail.  It did not repair it. The junk mail will also not delete.  It just says "program error" when trying to use the junk delete. Any other suggestions?

I recently configured my Gmail account with Windows Live Mail. There are about 9000 emails in the inbox and they have already been downloaded to Windows Live Mail. But each time I open WLM, there is a task performing near the 'Online' button at the bottom, which says "Checking for email; Downloading 1/9000 emails" when the emails are already downloaded. When I try to send/receive emails, the action is performed only after all 9000 emails are downloaded. So I have to wait till all or downloaded or manually stop the task to send out the emails.

Is there a possibility to change this setting? I have configured with IMAP.

Really appreciate if somebody can help fix this issue.

I use a french version of Mail 2012 on an IMAP account. I did properly configure IMAP special folder names in the account properties.

Normally all the special folders should take their  french names as defined by Mail default settings for french.

e.g.

INBOX should be renamed "Boite de réception"

Drafts -> "Brouillons"

Trash -> "Éléments supprimés"

Sent -> "Éléments envoyés"

Spam -> "Courrier indésirable"

Right now only the INBOX and Draft folder get renamed the other three folders keep their "real" names.

How can I fix the behavior for the other folders?? Where should i report this bug?

I really need some help!

I ordered an item online and gave my old email adress as reference (as my current already has a different account with this company), I tried to log into my email which I haven't used in a year or so and it asked for verification code and gave the option to send to a phone number/email - I no longer have access to either of these - I have filled in several recovery forms but I hardly have any information as I haven't used the account in so long!

I have been passed from department to department to get this solved and no-one can help or seems willing!

How else can I gain access to my old account?

I am elated to have downloaded WINDOWS LIVE MAIL in my new 8.1 desktop.  I want to stay with WINDOWS LIVE MAIL.

However, I'm also running MAIL.   I have two e-mail programs, linked to my g-mail account.

I find that in WINDOWS LIVE MAIL, the program is not saving, or showing, SENT or DRAFT email messages.   They do, however, show up in MAIL.

Am I able to turn off, or uninstall MAIL and run just WINDOWS LIVE MAIL?  How?

Will I loose the WINDOWS LIVE MAIL contacts, signatures that I have already customized in WINDOWS LIVE MAIL?  Can these customizations be saved in a separate file, just in case...

Contact your email provider and verify that it supports secure password authentication. To change this logon setting, in the folder list, right-click on the account name, and then click Properties on the shortcut menu. In the Properties dialog, click the Servers tab, and then under Incoming Mail Server, select a logon option.

keep getting various error messages when i open live mail, open a new message or delete a message, here is one example
