*Original Title: Intermittant server connection in WLM.

Message says server has had a time out. Cannot send or rcv. email during time out. It happens randomly. I'll be unable to connect for hours, then suddenly get 30 emails after a several hour time out. Code is 0x800CCC19. There seems to be no correlation to other events.  The same happens on my PC and iPad

mediacom is provider. Thanx in advance.

OT: Microsoft Account Password.

I can't seem to use the same Microsoft account password for both my laptop windows 8.1 and my desktop windows 7.

I never can get signed in, always have to cancel signing in to open email.

OT: Windows Essentials Mail Stuck Off Line.

After the automatic MS updates today, my Live Mail is stuck in the Off Line mode with the following error:

Unable to send or receive messages for the <Company> (my login) account. Your server has unexpectedly terminated the connection. Possible causes for this include server problems, network problems, or a long period of inactivity.

Server: 'my mail server'
Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x800CCC0F
Protocol: POP3
Port: 110
Secure(SSL): No
Socket Error: 10053

I'm using Windows 7 Ultimate and IE 11. [There is no "Off Line" toggle in IE 11.)]

How can I fix this?

Almost spanking new DELL, boilerplated by McAfee 24/7, and Windows 8.1 of course.

Without any warning whatsoever, the contents of Sent, Junk Mail, Deleted and INBOX folders are wiped out, gone, no more.

Noticed a message in a pop up tab, "Windows is busy now" or something to that effect.

Then another message informs that Windows has recovered some messages.

Upon checking I found: most recent [10-20] emails over 2 days restored to INBOX, nothing to Sent or Deleted [nothing to cry over].

It is very embarrassing when one receives a reply and can't check what exactly was it in regard to.

Today's data obliteration was the fourth incident over the past month. Have no clue whether the hardware or the software is spooking me but sure it is not amusing. As it is, WLM 2012 appears less reliable communication than smoke rings. Am I alone, anyone else afflicted out there?

I could use some HELP.

*Original Title: Sent emails not being received

I have windows 7 and using windows mail. For years I had no issues than for the last few weeks all kinds of problems. My problem now is that emails go into my sent folder but are never received by the recipients. I can send to myself with no problem but to no one else. I can send online with Horde and can send from my other email account set up in windows mail just not my default work account.  I have deleted and reinstalled account but no change. Please help!

Hello,

We have created a signature for our company emails which includes images. Is there a way to send emails containing the signature from Windows Live Mail without having the images blocked by the receiver?

We have tested the same signature with Thunderbird and all images display by default on all of the same tested recipients and clients.

Any Suggestions?

This is totally frustrating because I have the same problem. My IE and Firefox do not have the "work offline" checked. I have actually uninstalled and reinstalled Windows Live Mail hoping that would correct the problem. However, the 'work offline' still has a red X through it, and the "Tools" title is not accessible. Here is the message I receive when I click on "send/receive messages" for my email accounts (I use two email accounts). This has been going on for three days:
