I have set up a new gmail account.  I have two others that I use using Windows life mail--no problem.  I am in Mexico and at first I got emails from Gmail that someone was trying to access the account from my location and they were denying access.  I finally went through a routine with Gmail and they allowed access to my account.  I know my user name and password are correct because gmail recognizes them.  But, I am still having a problem with windows live mail.  They keep coming back with your server is denying access.  I want to use the account but windows live mail is not allowing me to.  Help
Long time ago I used Windows Live Messenger regularly. I had a lot of good conversation with several old friends and I wished to be able to read them all again. Can you please tell me if there's any way to make it happen?

I accidentally deleted my Live Mail email accounts and all the associated emails. I have managed successfully to restore the accounts and to import all my emails from my last backup two months ago. However, I have about 700 emails from the past few months which I know are still on the server (I can access them in VirginMedia Mail) but I can't work out how to get them into Live Mail.

I hoped that Live Mail would automatically pull them from the server but that hasn't happened (it did happen on my iPhone!) and I even tried marking them as 'unread' in VirginMedia Mail but that didn't work either.

Any suggestions?

So I have a cox email that I've used in windows live for sometime now, then it suddenly begins to give this error:

Unable to send or receive messages for the Cox (calebcable) account. An incorrect password was entered. The next time you send or receive messages, you'll be asked to enter your user name and password for this account.

So I contacted cox, and after almost 2 hours we called it hopeless. But they then referred me to here. Here's the facts:

I CAN access the webmail of this account on Cox. Using let's say 'PW A'.

I CAN'T send or receive email from WLM using 'PW A'. 

I have changed passwords for my account quite a few times, and after the change it still refuses my brand new password

Yes, I have reinstalled a couple times,

But help would be mucho grande.

I have a local email provider that I use. My Windows Live account is what my computer uses. It seems that some of my contacts don't get my email.  Am I supposed to be using Outlook or the Mail app on the computer?

Dell XPS 1645, Windows 7 Premium 64, Windows Mail Live, Defender Anti Virus, Malwarebytes Anti-Malware, Bell Sympatico Fibe.    eMails are returned with the following message each and every time :

Tried eMail with attachment, without attachment, with CC and BCC, without CC or BCC, with receipt request, without request...all fail.    eMailing another computer in my house is successful.

Uninstalled Windows Live and reinstalled it.    This did not help.    I changed the name of the account.    This did not help.

Removed malware and defender.    Tried again.    Same issue.    msconfig, unticked everything but Microsoft services.    This did not resolve the issue.

If I log in at Bell.net, log in and use Outlook, everything works fine.    I want to use Windows Live Mail as I have been for the past 6 years.

Assistance would be appreciated.

whenever I try to send an e-mail from windows Live It sends an error code which included an old e-mail server, comcast.  We now have Yahoo.com  The error code is 0x800cc0e
