I use Windows Vista. The problem began yesterday when I tried to check email with Windows Live Mail. I receive the error code 0x80048820 every time I try to send/receive. I have checked several message boards but none of the fixes worked. WLM has worked fine for years without a problem and no settings have been changed recently.

I normally access my Hotmail account via Windows Live Mail but suddenly I'm getting this message when I try to login:
Unable to send or receive messages for the Hotmail (rggraham1947) account. Sorry, we were unable to sign you in to Windows Live ID at this time. Please try again later.

When I checked the server information in the hotmail properties it shows:
http://mail.services.live.com/DeltaSync_v2.0.0/sync.aspx
I don't think this is correct but I don't remember what the correct settings should be.

I am running 8.1 and got Norton and now Microsoft to repair my laptop not two bad but...also running google chromecast anyway there was a big problem and I do not know what is safe and not +WILL DOWNLOADING YOUR PROGRAM IN ANY WAY CAUSE PROBLEMS WITH OTHER RUNNING PROGRAMS.

To Windows Server 2008 r2 I installed Windows live mail 2011. This server I use as terminal server(remote desktop) but I get one problem.
My question would be:
If I connect remotely to server with 2 same accounts (Let say "Tom") at same time from diferent computers I can only go to windows live mail 2011 only with one of the computer/account. Second computer/account on starting program just hangs and does nothing. Could I solve that both computers could use same mail database at same time?

I am using Windows 8.1 and running live mail 2011.
Looks like Live Mail shut down and then reloaded all the original default folders with all or most emails intact except they all are unread as if they are all new.
I have found my personal folders in Storage folders listed as recovered folders. How do I restore all my folders to their original location? I tried dragging and dropping but that did not work for me.
What might have caused this in the first place?
