OT: windowes live mail
when i open up windows live mail inbox i see someone else mail and some of my mail is mixed in with it... can this person see my mail also and how do i fix this??

This morning I was unable to access my emails, a banner kept appearing telling me that the
. I tried my My BT password but that did not work. I contacted BT who were very helpful. They asked me to change from POP3 server to IMAP and they gave me a new password. Also told me to update Windows Live Essentials 2011 which I have done. When I click on 'Read email' the system now works but only seven emails remain in the Inbox up to 19.44 yesterday. There should be at least another 150 read and unread. Will I ever be able to retrieve those emails or are they lost forever? Incidentally I have checked all the other boxes but those emails are not there - perhaps still in POP 3 server??

going through cmd routine for windows 7 and updating dll settings and error code 0x80070005 has now appeared.
Any ideas?

I was forced to have Windows 7 reinstalled and was upgraded from Windows Live Mail 2011 to Windows Live Mail 2012.

With Windows Live Mail 2011, if I wanted to save an email I would click to save file as a "Mail (.eml)" and it would save it in an
email format so that I could reopen it as an email. With WLM 2012, when I try to save it as a file, all I get is a document
like image which cannot be opened.
Now the only way I can save an email is to copy it all on a Word document and save the header so that I can copy that in
at the top, which is a lot more time consuming.
Also, I will be unable to open all of the past ones that I have saved from my WLM 2011. I won't even venture to experiment,
as it may ruin them.
Please advise me as to how I can fix WLM 2012 so that I can save my mail as a file "Mail (.eml)" without having this issue.

I can get to my mail using outlook.com and hotmail.com. I get my emails on ,y phone and tablet but, I can not get them using windows live mail and this is my primary toll for getting emails. I have ticked the automatically detect settings. I have tried looking at the MTU but if you lower the bits from 1500 to 1472 it times out. Please help. Here are the exact messages wit the email name removed

I know this is an old problem and I think I have done everything suggested, several times over e.g. "uninstall/re-install" "repair" etc. The one thing I know I haven't done, is sent in my log files. I think I have located them, but an attempt to copy and paste them in this window just locked up. Re-starting, I have saved them as a text file to my document files. The file is 2.6 Mb.
What next? I will go back to browsing, to see if I have missed something.
