I continually get this error code today. In the past, it hasn't worked occasionally, but when I reloaded the mail, it worked fine.   Today it won't fix itself.    I have checked all the server info & it seems to match AOL's IMAP requirements.   AOL.com mail works perfectly, just can't use it today on WLM.    Please advise.

Hi,

I have a sort of similar problem, I have about 4 email accounts configured in WL but the primary account has about 30K messages (with data size of about 9GB) and for the past one month, the text of the mail does not show and an HTML attachment is shown which contains the text of the message when opened in the Google chrome browser.

I have tried repairing windows essential live 2012 but without any success.

Please help

Dear All,

I have a problem with windows live mail. If I click on the icon "attached file" winodw live mail close down.

I can forward emails with attached files whatever is the size or the format of  the attached file.

Any idea of the problem/solution?

Thanks,

Emmanuel.

Hello. I suddenly stopped receiving email via Windows Live Mail as of 2/11/15. It was working just fine prior to 2/11. My email provider is Verizon Yahoo mail. I've tried disabling virus software and tried other incoming/outgoing servers (i.e. incoming.yahoo.verizon.net and pop.mail.yahoo.com) after doing some research on this issue. No luck after trying all these possible solutions. I even tried downloading Windows Live Mail 2012 to see if this would fix the issue. I keep getting the error below.  I do receive email on all my mobile devices and can still access my email account via the web. Any help would be appreciated.

Microsoft Security Essentials will not Install error code 0x004FF91.    After reloading windows  Home Premium I uninstalled Trend Micro, downloaded the Microsoft fixt it program MicrosoftFixit50535  and OneCareCleanup.    Still getting that same error code 0x004FF91.

I did veryify  that windows Installer service is running.

None of the tasks I see in task manager appear to me appear to  be antivirus or spyware.

Can anyone help?

(I selected "live mail" under product, did not see anthing in that list that was related to Microsoft Security Essentials)

Thanks in advance,

Dave

My earthlink email account downloads to my two computers' Windows Live Mail accounts.  Owing to a corrupt file, my downstate computer lost the user ID and with it all my old emails.  I would like to copy my old emails (both received and sent) from my upstate computer (but not delete them) and then download them onto my downstate computer.  I have not seen any directions for this particular problem.
I have multiple email accounts to check daily making Live Mail very practical for me.  If I delete mail in Live Mail, will it be deleted in the original account?  I do not want to archive in Live Mail.
My personal storage folders have disappeared from the list on the left hand side of my screen in Windows Live Mail 2012.  I know they are around as I can use the search facility and see them individually.  How can I make them reappear in the listing on my screen ?  Thanks for any help.
