Problems with Windows Live Mail messages

I have Windows 7 Home Premium and use Windows live mail. My problem is that every so often my various boxes like inbox, sent and all storage folders seem to corrupt in that they keep the mail headings but in the actual message box there is no message except ' Message cannot be found The contents of this message cannot be found. Windows Live Mail '. Where has the message gone/or is stored and how can I recover it? It does not do it for all messages just a random selection.

I cannot get a new @live.com email to send/receive emails.

I need to create a new email using @live.com. I went through the process (Options/Email Accounts/Add/Email Account) and then I entered my information which included an email address of "*** Email address is removed for privacy ***", password of "starter", Remember this password was checked and I left the following two boxes (default email and manually configure) empty. I clicked on "Next" and received the screen "Your email account was added" with a big green check mark beside "*** Email address is removed for privacy *** was added". I then clicked on "Finish". The Accounts screen now shows Live (starter) account amongst the others I already had. I clicked on "Close"

After a moment, I received the message box, "Please enter your user name and password for the following server: Under that was:

Server: https://mail.services.live.com/DeltaSync_v2.0.0/sync.aspx;

User Name: *** Email address is removed for privacy ***;

Password: *******.

I checked the Remember Password check box and clicked on "OK". The same message box came back except it was blank in the Password box. I added the password "starter" and checked the Remember Password check box and clicked on "OK" again.

I then received a message box which said, "Some errors occurred while processing the requested tasks. Please review the list of errors below for more details." However the Errors tab was blank (no list of errors) and the Tasks tab indicated that the "Check for new messages on Live (starter)" was cancelled.

I cannot get this email account to work. I already have one @live.com email account but a new one is required for a job I am pursuing.

Note: I have actually tried several email addresses (within @live.com) and the same problems occur.

What am I doing wrong or what do I need to do to get a new @live.com email to work?

“Bulk” has started appearing in the subject line of my emals – in and out – why and how do I stop it?

Windows 7 - Windowns Live Mail -

For some unknown reason, several months ago, all my emails suddenly appear with the word "BULK" in the subject line.

I don't do it, don't know why it's there. I think it must be another of Microsoft's not so smat add ons that I don't want

and don't need. How can I get this to stop?

Tonight I received a email, read it, forwarded it. Nowhere in that email did I see the world "BULK", but when the addressee

received it - the word was there in the subject line. When she sent it back to me - the word "BULK" was in the subject line

two times - if we bounce these emails, the word is added every time, going and coming. She does not have this with any

one else in her address list, nor do I. It seems to be between the two of us only. I thought it was something coming from

her computer and she always thought it was coming from mine.

HELP!!!!!

Windows Live Mail POP3 using Gmail: WLM program crashed. Imported Sent messages show my name in the “To” column, instead of the recipient’s name

My Windows Live Mail POP3 Gmail account crashed. When I restored the "Sent items" folder, all the emails in the "To" column show my email address ["My Name" <*** Email address is removed for privacy ***>] instead of the name of the person to whom I sent the message. There is no entry under the "Account" column. When things were working correctly, all messages in the "Sent items" folder showed "Gmail (myaccount@ - POP3", and also showed the message recipient's name.

How can I correct this problem?

Problem started with Internet Explorer 9, some websites not displayed correctly, then some DLLHost error started appearing, then IE9 started to crash non-stop every time it started and it would keep crashing in a hard to break out of cycle, website restore, crash, website restore crash.

Eventually used a little trick -nohome and -noffx or something to stop the crashing at startup.

Fortunately I already had Mozilla Firefox installed.

In the past:

Internet Explorer 11 failed to install.

Internet Explorer 11 installed, but caused problems, Windows Live Mail not working, Games not working, potentially other problems.

Internet Explorer 11 de-installed mostly because another patch that was the cause of the problem had to be de-installed something with a 6 and a 3 in it... but I forgot the patch number.

Meanwhile windows updates occurred throughout the months... last few days updates occurred.

I hoped that IE11 problems and Windows Operating Systems problems were solved by now so I gave it another shot.

Downloaded IE11 online installer, it failed, perhaps it does not have the correct write permission to download files properly. (6 MB)

I decided to try again and this time try to find an IE11 ISO/full install, 54 MB. This time it installed.

Updated IE11 with further 3 cumulative updates from Windows Update to prevent security risks.

So in short:

Windows 7 Updates + IE11 Install + IE11 Updates still causes:

1. E-Mail to fail: Windows Live Mail has stopped working.

2. Games to fail: Company of Heroes Tales of Valor, Error Report.

3. Possibly other problems.

I might be able to remove IE11 and prevent these problems.

E-Mail is essential and Windows Live Mail is essential. It's even called Windows Essentials ? However it is not functioning currently.

Not being able to access my E-Mail Archive is UNACCEPTABLE.

Not having a correctly functioning browser from Microsoft is also to be considered RIDICILOUS/NEARLY unacceptable. Strangely enough even Mozilla Firefox crashed while IE11 was installing ??? Probably not a big deal but still.

With IE9 being badly supported by the WEB and IE9 malfunctioning this situation is now VERY BAD.

My options are:

1. De/Un-Install Internet Explorer 11 (RIDICILOUS) use BAD IE9, but be able to E-Mail, Use Competitor Browser Firefox ?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

2. Keep IE11 but loose E-Mail Archive. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOOSE Some games like Company of Heroes ?!!!!?!?!?!!!?!?!? One of the best Strategy Games of All Time ?!?!?!?!?!?!

Seems like somehow Windows developed some kind of PATH issue ???????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

I kinda want my browser to be updated. So I would like to use IE11 but still access my Windows Live Mail archive ?!?!?

I NEED A SOLUTION FROM MICROSOFT !!!

I need:

1. E-mail to work.

2. Web to work.

3. Games/Operating system to work.

If Miccrosoft cannot provide these basic functionalities to work then Microsoft has a serious problem.

I know you are busy with Windows 8.1 **** and Windows 9/10 titles and such ;) but try to keep existing users of Windows 7 happy as well.

Currently it seems like a big MESS...

Please put more focus on fixing this current situation. If this situation is not fixed in a statisfactory way I may have to give up my TRUST into Microsoft.

Your pattern/behavior is pretty obvious by now:

YOU WRECK your older Software to force people to upgrade to new systems/software.

With 4 Terrabytes of Information on the line I may consider to harbor my DATA on Competitors Operating Systems that hopefully will take my MAIL ARCHIVES more seriously then monetary GAIN !

I think Bill Gates is a llllllllllllllllllllllittttttttttttttttte bit rich enough with 70 BILLION dollars on his bank account. Fortunately Microsoft has not made a lot of Money from me as far as I can tell.

But even ME as a free-loader is starting to get fed UP with technical issues !

It's basically wasting my time... and that's costing me time.

Since I am FREE-LOADER... I will give Microsoft a chance to correct their mistakes, bugs, ****, etc.

This is my main system and main mail at stake... I do have backups... barely... windows live mail had some issues but was able to recover and repair itself...

So far Microsoft has never let me done with keeping my DATA SAFE.

But as of now... I cannot ACCESS MY DATA !

And worst of all:

If it wasn't for the COMPETITOR Mozilla Firefox ! I might have been stranded ! Yes I have different computers but they old.

Not being able to use a WEB BROWSER is also QUITE BAD !

I hope Microsoft recognizes the SERIOUSNESS of these TECHNICAL FAILURES and goes to work TO SOLVE EACH AND EVERY LAST ONE OF THEM.
