My ISP has sold off non-cable customers and so I have to find another ISP.  When I have emigrated to this new one, will my Windows Live Mail saved emails remain where they are now or will they be placed somewhere else or will they disappear?  I do need to retain many of my email records.

I'm running WLM Version 2011 (Build 15.4.3555.0308) under Win Vista/64.  A couple of times recently, I've received a notice on my screen informing me that my 'memory is low,' and that I should close and re-open WLM.  On both recent occasions, I wasn't doing anything noteworthy in the program; all mail had been read and filed or discarded, and nothing was waiting to send.

What is the typical memory usage for WLM?  Right now, with the program running but simply sitting there, Task Manager tells me it's using 92,460 K of "Memory (Private Working Set).  Is this typical, and why should it change with nothing happening?

I have 10 email address accounts and when Windows live mail 2011 does its first initial search it read them all as correct and downloads any emails in any of the 10 accounts BUT when it does it "re" search after every 10 minutes, the first account in list does not get read.

It seems like that something is either too slow or something else is too fast .

As the hierarchial sorting order is 0-9 then A-Z, I created a dummy which is aaaa@xxxxxx thus it is in hierarchial order above the 10 genuine ones and gets read first, and windows live mail always fails to read that first in list one.

Why does this occur.

Its happening on 3 computers with windows live mail 2011 and Windows 7.

If I get an Android phone like the Samsung S5 will I be able to sync my Windows Live Mail contacts and calendar as I do currently with a Windows 7 phone?

We have a POP server which is why I use Live Mail rather than Outlook if that has any bearing.

My windows live mail program converts a PDF document to an unreadable word document when I forward it.
Why is there no "Select All" option in Live Mail, or have I just not found it?

When any E/Mail is clicked the screen reduces in size and print increases making it unreadable.  Have checked mouse and not that I think - help?

Original title: 800ccc0f error

For the last year, I get error 800ccc0f intermittently when sending, receiving and moving messages to local folders.

I have Windows Live Mail 2012 build 16.4.3528.0331. Windows 7 64 bit, all critical updates current, 8 GB RAM.  AVG  2014, with email scanning disabled.  I have used IMAP protocol for several years.  I use a hard wire router. I took the router out, and it made no difference. No other programs are running.

I checked with my cable ISP and my connection is fine and they are having no network problems. The confirmed my properties settings are correct.

I also have the problem when I’m on other networks such as my Verizon air-card.

On my synchronized web based email, I keep those folders empty. I empty my Inboxes daily, either deleting the messages or storing them in my local folders.

My complete error messages are:

After receiving mail:

“Your Server has unexpectedly terminated the connection.  Possible causes are server problems, network problems, or a long period of inactivity.

The server did not respond to this IMAP command before the connection was terminated.

Account: Charter(adamsr2)(1)

Server: IMAP.Charter.net

User Name: adamsr2

Protocol: IMAP

Port: 143

Secure(SSL): 0

 Code: 800ccc0f.”

When moving messages to local folders:

“Your Server has unexpectedly terminated the connection.  Possible causes are server problems, network problems, or a long period of inactivity.

The server did not respond to this IMAP command before the connection was terminated.

When Sending a message:

“An unknown error has occurred.  You IMAP command could not be sent to the server, due to non-network errors.  This could, for example, indicate lack of memory on your system.

Configuration:

Account: Charter(adamsr2)(1)

I have removed and  re-created my account several times.

Any suggestions?

I have log files ready to upload.

I need to save some time. After I input new items into the ofrfice desktop I then have to do the same for our website calendar. Is there a way to have my desktop calendar automatically update the website calendar?
