Windows 7 Live mail download

I am trying to put Live Mail on my window 7 computer. when I open it up it ask if I want this program to change my computer. If I say yes it open with a resolution of 690 versus about 1290 which I need. If I answer no it just doesn't open. I have windows live on my lap top with windows 7 and my desk top is a late version of windows seven. Does anyone know what my problem might be, or how to download a e-mail program that I don't have to have a different address from the Live mail on my laptop. I am working with a Verizon e-mail at this time and it is the pits.

I'm trying to forward email that goes to one account in live mail to a different account in live mail and it does not work. I have followed the steps listed by Ron Sommer on July 3, 2013 to no avail. I'm not seeing anything more recent and I am running Windows 8.1. Any suggestions?

My email system (Windows 8.1 and Windows Live Mail) has been compromised in some way which results in a batch of emails being received by an apparently random group of people who in some cases reply to me - mostly saying "unable to deliver". The problem is that I have not sent the emails that are being replied to and they are generally sent in batches (3 times since March this year). They have my email address in the "from box" at the top and generally contain a link to a website with a message like - I have just made £380 in the past week! I have been in touch with BT who provide telephone/broadband/email and they have so far been unable to solve the problem or give me any feedback. I do not know who is pretending to be me or indeed why they are doing what they are. I have changed my BT password to no avail and do not know how to tackle the problem. I have Microsoft Security Essentials and Malware Bytes installed. Can anyone suggest a solution?

Windows Live Mail – need to transfer emails from one computer (Win7) to another (Win8)

I have already setup WLM on the Win8 new puter. Old puter uses  WLM on Win7. I have transferred the contacts and thought I had transferred / exported the folders and their corresponding emails that are saved on the hard drive of the old puter.  But it didn't work.  There were a lot of the deleted / junk emails and many replicas but not the folders / emails I wanted to transfer.

I tried to export the folders / emails onto a SD card but  the wizard replies "The export directory must be ampty directory. Please select an empty directory and try again."

I even followed one of the answers to a post about this same thing....  copy and paste type of thing -- c:/users/login name/AppData/LocalMicro..WLM...

I am afraid to do that as (I am thinking) the data already downloaded to WLM on new puter will be overwritten....

It is a shame that I can't sync from old puter WLM to WLM  server than sync from server to new Win8 WLM....  that would be too easy....

has for numbers of weeks keep sanding me this little window evry time i open my mail

"Your server has unexpectedley terminated connection. Possible causes for this include server problems,network problems  or a long period of inactivity."

This window has been causing me an issue. So i asked McAfee Technician to resolve this issue for me.

As soon as he fixed it all my Inbox email has dissapeared (222-red flaged). Nothing there.

for a fwe days i thought little window is at least gone but, today it has appeared again!

Mcafee technician tried to get emails back so far nosuccess!

I hope you can helo with this problem.

Have Windows 7.

My mai account is Gmail.

Would it be possible to maybe undo what first technician did so that at least i can get my mail back?

Is it possible to stop that little window appearing?

Can they reconnect to my Gmail account fort new emails?

Hi,

   I recently accessed my Windows Livemail account and it immediately started to upload the remaining emails from my Talktalk account,change my folder titles from descriptive to letters and numbers then they seemed to be deleted all my folders and event the default ones. Alot of the folders were emptied ie sent,junk, etc.   All very frustrating. I,m sure I have not accidently deleated this so what has happened?     cheers  Tim

I wrote a few minutes ago that I couldn't find "src" in notepad, even after a search.  But, I did finally find it and followed the rest of the instructions.  I get the same results that I got before I made any changes in Notepad.  My signature is my name with an empty photo box about it containing just a small x.  I know I'm in HTML mode, not TEXT mode.  --  Alan

When typing an email in the Live email version included with Win 8.1 the font will suddenly decrease to the point where it is unreadable.

When typing an email in the Live Mail version included with my Win 8.1 program, the font will suddenly decrease to the point where it is unreadable. The problem has something to do with dragging my hand on the mousepad, but I can't duplicate the problem while watching. The font can be enlarged using the font control menu, but it still shows up as the minimized font when the email is received by the addressee. The only solution I've found is to delete the message and restart Live Mail. also, this is not a problem that is resolved by the Zoom control in the upper right corner. Help!!

I'm trying to find Windows Live Essentials 2009. I've googled and googled but no joy. Every D/L link takes me to a file not found page on MS site. Have tried numerous D/L files which either gives an error or doesn't install. Help, please! Thanks!
