About 2 days ago an update took place and installed Windows Live essentials 2011. It have over run my 2009, which I have fought to keep as I refuse to use SkyDrive or whatever the F it is as well as other features.
I think I simply unistall it but I don't remember if I need to re-install 2009?
I am afraid to lose all my accounts, folders, contacts, groupings, etc...
I think this **** happened to me a few years ago and it was a pretty easy fix??
Please help me return to normal.
I choose installing and updating but I really want to return to OLD!!
THx
I installed windows live mail on a new desktop, windows live will not connect me to a shown address within an email? It says I must connect some software to allow for this. I have always been able to connect to a link, within an email, in the past? Have now clue as to what software is required.. I believe I used windows esentials as well... Any help would really be appreciated....

Ever since the last very large download of updates from Microsoft to my WINDOWS 7 account Mail 2012 has always asked for a password before it would download any new email. As I didn't set a password in the first place I have to either just click O.K. or Cancel and it proceeds to download the new mail. It is also from time to time asking me to review Authentication Certificates which when I have done so, providing I allow it to install them on my computer, it allows me to read the mail.
Can anyone tell me how to get rid of these annoyances?

Hi,
I have managed to insert image in my signature.
On the right of the image there is vertically aligned text.
In the preview everything looks ok!
However, when I am loading the signature, the image gets smaller (by itself) and it ruins the vertical alignment of my text.
How can I stop the changing of image's size?
Hi,
My emails storage location is located on different drive (not system drive).
I am now installing new Windows 7 and the new WLM, and I will change the default message store location to my custom location.
I have several email accounts. In some of them I visit the web server and delete all emails to prevent doubling them in my email folders.
However, I do not know how to prevent downloading emails from gmail account. If I delete them on the server then I loose them for good.
How to tell WLM not to download emails from gmail server, those emails which are already in my message store?
Thanks,
jas
I guess I asked my question in the title but here are some details.
8.1
WL email is set as default in every manner I could find in forums,,. support, Q & A, and standard fixes.
All program features of WL mail seem to work.

Windows Live Mail on Win 7.
My Sent folder has emails I originate & send - but does not include replies.
When I delete a received email, after replying, it is in my Deleted folder but without my reply
So I seem unable to locate a reply email in case I decide to re-use it, forward it, etc.....
