Windows Live Mail FAQ
I set up rules for my recent absence from the office but none of the replies were sent out until the evening before I returned (I was gone 5 days) I double checked and the only boxes checked off were the following ... under conditions - all messages and under actions - reply with message. Would anyone have any idea why this happened?

I have a problem with my live mail account.
I can send/receive from my Hotmail account in Windows Live, however, with my wife's MSN account, we get the dreaded 3204 server error with details of Unable to send or receive messages for the Msn (leeannm1) account.
Server Error: 3204
Server: 'https://mail.services.live.com/DeltaSync_v2.0.0/Sync.aspx'
Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x8DE20003.
Could I get some help resolving this please?

In Windows Live Mail, I would like to change the email headings from the first part of the message to the name of the sender. Can anyone help me?

I have a problem deleting contacts that are old and I have tried to correct others but I cannot in Live Mail 2012. How can I get rid of those unwanted contacts and change others?

I recently had my notebook upgraded from windows 7 home premium to ultimate. The tech did not warn me or ask me about changes. I thought he was merely installing Office in English. In the process, I lost windows live mail 2012 and all of my e-mail. Is there any way I can retrieve it? When I go into my Acct setup (which I set up back in 1996) I get asked questions I can´t answer because I don´t print all of my e-mails. I moved from my old home to a new one and I lost some things. To make matters worse, I have a PC and a Notebook with XP that had to have their hard drives replaced; therefore, all of my old info is lost. I created an Outlook Acct today to receive a new password but the system just takes me around and around and I can´t seem to get any live help. HAVE I LOST ALL OF MY e-mail INFO? Tks.

The enter instruction no longer works in the body of e-mails; i.e., when I hit "enter," nothing happens; the curser just doesn't move. I cannot use the mouse to get it to another line either. I must have inadvertently hit something that locked in this mode; how do I get back to normal operation. Thanks.

OT: Mail slow to come in.
Currently experiencing about a 5 hour delay between people sending me mail and it actually showing in my inbox. Mail can be coming from a range of mostly private webmail email addresses anywhere in the U.S. I do not have any issues sending mail. Windows 8.1.
