I have Windows Live mail 2011 installed with Windows 7. I created a mailinglist.group file in Windows Contacts. When I attempt to email from it through the Email option on the ribbon, Windows complains: Either there is no email client or the email client cannot fulfill the messaging request. Please run Microsoft Outlook and run it as the default email client.
What must I do to run a distribution list from my setup?
I have a problem in live mail. I get a box saying Publishing photo album, publishing photo 15 of 15... with a green line that is stuck at 15 . Then it says windows live not responding. I stopped the task in task manager, deleted the out box, repaired the live program in control panel, restarted computer, tried sending them again and the same thing happens. I have tried 7 times today. Will there be a fix???
[Original title: Windows live 2012 freezes up when sending photos]
Running Win 7 Professional.
The Live Mail small box indicating that sending is in progress cannot be stopped or deleted.
It says it is publishing photo 1 of 1 (I've never had this problem before...)
It is also preventing me from opening my main Live Mail screen.
I have the Windows Live Essentials repair, but without success.
I also went into C:usersmy accountApp DataLocalMicrosoftWindows Live MailOutbox but it is empty!
CTRL-ALT-DELETE only removed the box temporarily.
The minute I try to open Mail, the send box, and ONLY the send box, appears.
There is NO error message.
Anyone with a suggestion?

Thanks in advance for any help with issue.
I managed to salvage quite a few emails from my damaged external hard drive. They are saved as .eml files on my desktop PC.
I am able to open them using Windows Live Mail, but they are in unreadable code. Is there any way to 'decode'
these emails to make them readable. I have Windows 8.1
