Hi

For the last week having been getting the following errors.

When trying to log in to Windows Live Mail i get the following error:

Unable to send or receive messages for the Hotmail (xxxxxxxx) account.
Server Error: 0x800488EB
Server: 'https://mail.services.live.com/DeltaSync_v2.0.0/Sync.aspx'
Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x800488EB

Also when i try and log in to Windows Update i have been getting the following error:

Code 80072F8F

I have tried many of the suggestions on this site to fix these including verifying the time date and region, as well as changing the date to a point before the errors started.  None of that worked.

I see now after reading more posts that it seems as this is a server issue on the Microsoft side, and no change i can make will resolve it.

Can someone make whatever changes need to be made on the Server side to fix this.

Thanks

This is my suggestion! I have done it three times and it works

Click on STOP

Now go or hold down CNTRL, ALT, and DELETE at the same time

Five options come up Click on TASK MANAGER

It should start in Applications if not click on it

The following screen come up

There is two Windows LIVE MAIL Item

Select each one and click on END TASK

Then Click on

PROCESSES The following screen comes up

Click on Image Name making sure it is in alphabetical order!

Now move slider to go to bottom of page. You will see two folders

At the bottom! WLCOMM.EXE*32 and WLMAIL.EXE*32

Select each one and then click end Process!

Another small box will come up each time Asking are you sure just click yes!

Now close TASK MANAGER

REOPEN MAIL

Click on OUT BOX

Put the Picture Email in the Deleted Box and click Delete

Now close Mail and restart it ! It should be fine now!

Well this works for me on my Windows 7 And Windows 8 Laptop!

Good Luck

When Windows Live Mail email is open, I cannot retrieve (they won't show up) my Storage Accounts, which previously had shown up beneath the primary account Inbox, Outbox.  How do I get these folders to display?  I clicked on the folders tab and nothing happens.  I can click on the "Message Rules" tab and see the folders but I can't get to them.

Help!  Thanks.

I, too, have a problem.  My photos are in the desktop folder.  If I want to send one, either just the picture or by attachment, it goes to "publishing 1 of 1 phtos" and then freezes up half way through.  Then I have to restart my computer because it won't go away.

We never had this problem up until about a week ago.  I have sent 10 photos at once before with no problem.  Attachments won't go or anything.

If I have a photo in an email storage folder, I can send that, though.
