I tried to send a photo album, but I got an error message 0x80004004. What is this and can I fix it?

Have uninstalled and reinstalled and still receive this message. This started on June 25th 2015.
8 hours ago I sought help from the Microsoft Technical staff about a Windows Live Mail problem. It seemed that I did not qualify for free advice(there's a surprise) and it would cost £90, which I paid. Initially, one Technician looked at the problem but was eventually joined by another. Finally I was told that the "team" was working on the problem. By this time I had been sitting at my PC, answering questions, taking instruction etc. for 6 hours. I told the "Team Leader" that I had to leave my PC for a short time but when I returned the contact had been broken.
I telephoned again and after 18 minutes was informed that Microsoft did not support Windows Live Mail.
I asked for my money back but after a further 15 minutes received no answer from the refund department.
Mr Gates, before you give any more money to charity, could you send me my £90?
Oh why didn't I buy Apple?
When I try to opend my email in windows 7 I get a continuous "publishing photo album" message and can go no further.
I tried reinstalling live mail essentials and the problem is still the same.
What can I do to remove this message and start using email again?
Thanks for any help.

I have never used this community website until I found I could not send photos anymore. Any way after reading all this for the last few days I decided to try and speak to Microsoft!
I phoned Windows In UK
the following address Microsoft Campus. Thames Valley Park Reading. Berkshire. RG6 1WG United Kingdom.
Tel (+44) 0344 800 2400
Or use the Link https://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/contact.aspx
I phoned them and finaly got to a voice(No name) he informed me Microsoft does not support Windows live at all. AND THEY ALSO DONT MONITOR THIS COMMUNITY WEBSITE. He suggested that I used windows Outlook! I said but then I nead OFFICE and that costs money! His answer was well its not to expensive. And ANY WAY THEY WERE NOW WORKING ON WINDOWS 10! THIS IS THEIR PRIORITY!
Right I hadn't recorded any of this and that is a real pity! So I phoned again using Skype. After five goes a voice answered (Female) she said they were not trained on windows live and suggested I go to the Windows Live website.
This is www.answerdesk.microsoft.com Well I have had a quick look and unless you are willing to pay for help your not going to get any where

Many users are facing a problem where a message composed and sent using Windows Live Mail's photo email feature stalls in the sending, usually on 'Publishing photo n of n'. This is so far as we know because something changed at OneDrive to break the feature.
How to clear the error
(c) what steps the user has already taken to try and remedy the situation.
The unsent message is stuck in the outbox, below the account folders in the folder pane.
To clear the error, then, we have to
(a) Stop the program from trying to send the message, and
(b) Remove the message from the outbox so that the program doesn't try to send it again, because it won't go.
Case A: Windows Live Mail is running and no third-party browser is installed
This will often be the case if the process is started by using a sendmail function, like Send to > Mail recipient in Explorer, or Email in some photo applications like Picasa. The program is then running in a 'light' edition, with only the message compose window or the send/receive progress window visible. The rest of the program interface is not loaded, so the outbox is not accessible.
In some cases, it will be possible to right-click on the program icon in the notification
area ('system tray') and select Windows Live Mail. This should open the program interface, and when it's fully loaded, enable you to clear the outbox and stop the sending process.
After waiting a few moments, disconnect from the Internet, then re-launch the program by clicking on the program shortcut on the desktop, the taskbar or on the start menu. When it's fully loaded, clear the outbox and stop the sending process.
Compose a new test message with a unique subject and send it to yourself to confirm that you can now send messages again.
There should be no need to reboot the computer, repair the program, uninstall and re-install the program or use a different mail client because of this fault.
