Original title: Windows live mail

I was having trouble opening windows live mail so I uninstalled and reinstalled the program.  Now it will open but shuts down immediately

Any thoughts?

I can not get windows live to open, the icon comes up but the "wheel" just keeps spinning.  I can receive and send email on the server, when I contacted them they said it was a software issue.  Just started happenning
Black background appeared around e-mail messages in Windows Live Mail and seems to be obscuring my folders in the left margin. How do I correct this problem?

Recently live mail stopped working:

Unable to send or receive messages for the Hotmail account.

Server Error: 4201
Server: 'https://mail.services.live.com/DeltaSync_v2.0.0/Sync.aspx'
Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x8DE00002

Is there a resolution to this problem?

Signing in has nothing to do with being able to read, receive or send mail. It determines which contacts list and calendar to load. It also allows you to send photo email if you want to.

When viewing your message list, press Ctrl-Shift-O for Options. On the Connection tab, click Stop signing in. Accept the warning, then close down Windows Live Mail. Wait a few minutes, then start the program again; you should not see the sign-in dialogue.

You can now use the right-most button on the Home tab of the ribbon to sign in if you want to use the contacts and calendar associated with your Microsoft Account. If you select Remember me and sign me in automatically, you should not have to enter your credentials each time you start the program.

I am not able to click/access the 'stop signing in' tab.  It is grayed out. Now what???

A few weeks ago my Windows Live Mail program began to keep asking for my login and password, not the windows Live login and password, but my ISP login and password.

My ISP says it's a windows OS problem.

I have the

options > email accounts > servers > remember password CHECKED.

I don't want to always log in to Windows Live to access my ISP email account.

Please help.

Thanks,

S

I have a web-based email account that I check from home using Windows Live Mail.

There is no problem with the emails sent to me, but the emails that I send from

work using the web-based account are not downloaded when I use Windows

Live Mail.

Only the messages I write and send from Windows Live Mail are stored in the

folder "Sent Messages".

How can I download the Sent Emails from my web-based to the Windows Live

Mail?

Thank you in advance.

It is taking an unusually long time to move an incoming e-mail to the "Archived" file so I can review it at a later date. Why and what is the fix?
