Hello,

Yesterday I upgraded my computer from Windows 8.1 to Windows 10. Every time I want to open WLM, a window appears that says: "The program can not start because MSVCR110.dll is missing from your computer. To fix this problem, install the program again." But when I open C:WindowsSystem32 the file MSVCR110.dll is present.

When I used WLM on w8.1 I made some folders and moved mails in them. The account I used was an IMAP, the folders that I've created in WLM are not created on the server so they only stood in WLM. Is it possible that I can have my folders back when WLM works again?

I just upgraded to Windows10 and am getting the error message shown below in Windows Live Mail for my hotmail account. The Fix-it feature in your Windows 8 KB2842520 article doesn't work in Windows10. I'm afraid to use the "Fix it myself" procedure in regedit as suggested in the article because I don't want to take a chance messing anything up. Do you have a fix for this hotmail problem in Windows 10? Thank you.

"Unable to send or receive messages for the Hotmail (xxxxxx) account.

Server Error: 3204
Server: 'https://mail.services.live.com/DeltaSync_v2.0.0/Sync.aspx'
Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x8DE20003"

I've seen this same question re the same error message asked by other people in other forums, but no one has answered them yet.

Need to download Windows Live Mail 2012 for a new Windows 7 64-bit PC, but can find only the 2011 version. Where can I find the 2012 version for download?

Hi

Up-graded to Windows 10 everything run smoothly except my live mail, I have 2 Hotmail accounts that are fine but the @live.co.uk will not sync.

I installed Windows 10 64 bit on top of Windows 8.  A day or two later I tried to open windows live mail but received a message that Wldcore.dll could not be found, though it was in the windows mail folder. In the process of installing Windows Essentials again to correct this error I deleted the folders holding all of my previous email messages in the Mail folders.  Is this previous mail irrecoverable or is there a backup of these deleted files somewhere still on the system?

After upgrading my Windows 7 Pro 64 bit disk to Windows 10 Pro 64 bit I have been unable to open any emails in Windows Live Mail. All my email folders and messages are present, but whenever I try to read an email I am told "a problem occurred. Please try again", but trying again makes no difference.

I used the repair option in Programs and Features, and was told the repair was successful, but it wasn't because the problem persists. I also tried uninstalling/reinstalling Windows Essentials, but that made no difference either.

URGENT advice as to how to solve this problem would be appreciated.

Thanks and regards,

Roy

THIS IS A REALLY BIG PROBLEM! I had to format my notebook but before formatting, I took the time to export all email accounts (files were saved as .IAF to import later) After reformating and completely updating my notebook I couldn't import my accounts because .iaf files didn't save the log-in passwordS!!!! I tried to remember passwords that were created many years ago... I'm truly desperate. Some accounts have files that I need and cannot miss it for the world!!! PLEASE HELP!

can I delete the live mail account without affecting my outlook account? I set thru outlook account up thru the live mail account. also, I have been assured that all other programs under 'essentials' are compatible with windows 10( by a Microsoft engineer) even though the latest report released 0n 7-30-2015 states that there are still issues with compatibility. can someone PLEASE settle thiis question once and for all? the engineer states no problems but I see numerous questions and answers from the community that state problems persist. thanks in advance.
How do I get my contacts back so I may update?
