I upgraded to Windows 10 for two days. Had problems and went back to windows 7. My Windows Live Mail 2012 went nuts. It added hundreds of emails I had previously viewed...back to my inbox. My first problem: Some of these emails will not delete. If I do eventually get some of them deleted...when I go to the "deleted items" and hit "empty deleted files folder" It asks if you want to permanently delete these files. I hit yes...and nothing happens. I now have 5900 emails in my deleted items folder that won't delete. I tried going to Programs and double clicking on Windows Live Mail...and hitting the repair option. It runs the repairs and says it was successful but...it is not! Also...I get some new incoming emails that says "Message Cannot be Found."
What the heck is going on? HELP!!

Hello,
Has anyone ever experienced this?
I cannot read nor access e-mails due to the program not wanting to open and display its contents.
However, I can hear e-mails entering. I cannot use webmail since this mail client keeps receiving my messages.
Has someone found a solution? Can someone help please?
Thank you beforehand.
Best wishes,
Ghislaine
I currently have not downloaded Windows live mail as of yet as I am wondering if using this mail will I be able to set up two separate user identities so that my wife will have her e-mail and I will have mine and they would be separate. On outlook all both our e-mails showed up on her e-mail account. Any solutions out there.
Thank you.
I have read in the forums that Windows Live Mail is compatible with Windows 10 and some report it working well. After Windows 10 Upgrade, I can not open WLM and receive the following error message.
"The program can not start because MSVCR110.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem"
Is this the entire old Windows Essential Program or is there a stand alone version of WLM. And will my contacts and Saved Mail folders hopefully still be there or somewhere.
