Question about Outlook Express

windows live mail for wind.7 did not open.So I checked this community and find the clean

removal process for registry editor.First times it did work and I could open windows live mail.

But again windows live mail did not open(OX80041161).I use registry editor again and do

clean removal process. The problem is that "click HKEY local machine,click software and microsoft

and right click windows live mail. I could not find "windows live mail".Whats happend?

I could see windows mail,writer but no windows live mail.

Please help.

Hello, among the thousands of glitches I've been having since I got WLMail 2012, the two that hurt me the most are that from time to time (sometimes more often) (1) the forwards I send don't get sent out instead they remain in the Outbox for days and weeks, and (2) at the same time I don't receive any incoming messages either!

I should've said 3 most hurting glitches because many times IT will DELETE a message or two in that Outbox.  This time, it outdid itself - IT DELETED 5 MESSAGES in the Outbox since 3 days ago  that took me many hours to compose!!!   :(

I've been constantly coming to this community support with all of the glitches but no one ever had any answer, or answer that would work, so I of course quit coming here. 

But I write this time to beg someone to help me see if there's any way I could retrieve these messages at all?  Please???

I am migrating Windows Live Mail with several accounts to a new PC. The export program from WLM failed to pick up all the messages, so I'm trying to use GFI Backup.

On the old PC with Vista I backed up WLM, then tried to open the job in GFI Backup 4.1 on Win 7 but this also failed with a declaration that tasks with plugins or registry access aren't possible (I didn't specify plugins or registry access).

Web based accounts such as Hotmail and Gmail have synced, but the others imported only a few ancient messages. I now have an incomplete, messy, WLM installation on the new PC.

I have the same issue error reads: "Email address or password is incorrect.  Please try again"  However I have done a reset password and verified that it is correct by logging in through web browser at Outlook.com.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

I don't use Live Mail, but I helped an elderly man out in town today with his. He wanted to remove a contact completely who was also in a group. I deleted the contact. Will this also remove it from a group or will he get a kick back email saying that it tried to email that contact in the group but it didn't work? In other words, when you delet a contact, does it get removed from a group automatically?

He is very old and would never figure it out on his own and I don't really know him, so I can t just call him up and go back to his house.

WLM11:  Cannot compose, send forward with Windows 10.  I receive all emails.  Error states parser error.  Can this be fixed without deleting my WLM accounts and making new ones?

Every time I open my hotmail account, my login and password are already filled in.

How can I stop that from happening.

It is supposedly linked to Login Live.com

I can send and receive my emails, no problem. My husband can not send or receive, although he can receive emails and send emails from his phone. Below are the error messages I get.
