YOUR WEBSITE PAGE HERE DOESN'T WORK EITHER FOR GOODNESS SAKE!!! I wrote my message and pfffffff!!!!!!!! it disappeared!!! I'll try again:
I have Win10, WLMail 2012 (But these errors happened ALSO on Win7 with WLMail 2012)
TWO “ERRORS” HAPPENING TOO FREQUENTLY!!!
(1) “An unknown error has occurred.”
My messages don’t get sent out, they are caught in the Outbox for days or weeks. I always check with my servers but my email account with them on their web works perfectly, so it has to be WLMail doing. Here’s the error msg:
“An unknown error has occurred.
IT’S TIME for MS to fix these problems and MOST IMPORTANTLY to see to it that they don’t happen again!
I reached to this website several times before and no answer.... :(
I'm on Win 8.1 & have Windows Live mail. I have two categories...favorites & contact list. I never use the favorites list.
#1...... I would like to delete that whole category of favorites.
#2........I can't delete anything out of the contact list. Right clicking just gives me the option to move it to favorites. I don't want to do that. I want to delete the contact.
Can anyone help?
I'm using Windows Live Mail 2012. There are a few emails I send that I would like to have read receipts for. I do not want or need read receipts for all my email. How do I do this? I can't find where to select that option on individual emails or anywhere to make a rule.
HELP!
Thanks!
I created folders to put my emails in as a group, a club, and trips, and issues. For 3-4 years, I've had to look at those every time I go into outlook.
I deleted all that was in the folder and I was able to drag the darn thing around, and so some of them now sit under Delete, but do not go away.
I don't have any notices, just won't let me delete them.
how do i get rid of folders?????
Thank you

Will Windows Live Mail work with Windows 10 when it's released?
Thank you - Rob S.
Can someone please explain to me how to save all my old emails to an external hard drive, DVD, or 2nd computer.
I need to make a back-up because I don't want to lose them in the event of a problem occurring.
All my previous mail is stored in the "Storage Folders" section under various headings.
My O/S is Windows 7, 64 bit

I have emails on an old laptop using Windows Live Mail 2011 that I have exported into .eml files and saved to a flash drive. Since doing that the hard drive has crashed.
Now I have those files from the flash drive on my new laptop and am running Outlook 2013. How do I import those emails into Outlook 2013? It doesn't seem to want to do it. I can copy/paste the files but then there is no identifying information and to
see them I have to click each individual .eml to see what it is. That's not a good solution.
Is there another way?
AFTER UPGRADING TO WINDOWS 10, IN WINDOWS LIVE MAIL WHEN COMPOSING AN E-MAIL, ANY KIND OF 'ATTACHMENT', IF DELETED (BEFORE SENDING) OR IF 'TABBED' TO IT (THE ATTACHMENT), THE PROGRAMME HANGS AND DOESN'T WORK. THE SAME HAS TO BE CLOSED & RESTARTED EVERYTIME.
DUE TO THIS PROBLEM, IF I ATTACH A WRONG ATTACHMENT OR IF I WANT TO MAKE CHANGES TO THE ATTACHMENT IT IS BECOMING A BIG PROBLEM AND ALL THE TYPED MATTER IS GETTING LOST. EVEN IF I INADVERTENTLY 'TAB' TO THE ATTACHMENT, THE SAME THING HAPPENS. A LOT OF TIME & EFFORT IS WASTED DUE TO THIS.
ANY SOLUTIONS ? I HAVE ALREADY TRIED 'REPAIR LIVE ESSENTIALS' WHEN I HAD FOUND SOME OTHER PROBLEM AFTER THIS UPGRADE WHICH WAS SET RIGHT AFTER THAT. I WANT TO AVOID SAVING THE E-MAILS, UNINSTALL & REINSTALL.
