Hi,
today I wanted to send an e-mail message through Win live mail, but it doesn't work: Win. Live Error: 0x80CCC7D comes up and it sais: Server does not support SSL connection.
I contacted my new internet provider and they suggested to change from IMAP server to POP, but for some reasons, that doesn't work on my comp. IMAP is highlighted but the Backspace button to erase it and put in POP doesn't work. I can receive all messages, but not send. does anyone know a solution?
Thanks in advance for your help!!!
Greetings Sonja
I have Cableone internet. I have been using Windows live as my email server for a couple of years. Now I am having issues with sending, requesting, deleting, even opening emails. Can anyone help?

In properties/advanced, the option to " Leave a copy of messages on server " is not available. Why?
Thanks Geoff
Windows Live Mail 2012 won't allow me to add new contacts.

Since yesterday, I have been unable to send or receive mail from one of the hotmail accounts (all accounts managed within Windows Live Mail).
The message I keep getting when I try to retrieve is:
Unable to send or receive messages for the Hotmail (debra.fett) account.
Server Error: 4102
Server: 'https://mail.services.live.com/DeltaSync_v2.0.0/Sync.aspx'
Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x8DE00001
Any help would be great, as this is a very active account.
Thank you,
Debra
I have been using Windows Live Mail for a couple of years, and it's been fine until now. I cannot receive e-mails with attachments, but e-mails without attachments arrive OK. It's happening on my tablet as well. On Monday Windows Live Mail was working OK, then on Tuesday it wasn't, and I don't know how to fix it. Nothing was changed overnight, but in the morning after shutting the computer down, I switched it back on and opened WLM, which said that it hadn't closed down properly. I've checked all the settings for the e-mail accounts, and they're OK. I've spoken with my ISP to check that they're not throttling bandwidth, and they're not. Following on from checking with my ISP, I tried an alternative mail app on the same computer, and I can receive e-mails with attachments OK, so it's nothing to do with the ISP. (The alternative mail app doesn't suit my needs though.) I've tried going to web mail and sending from there to a different account in WLM, but I get the same error message in the other account. I'd like to get Windows Live Mail back up and running. This is the error message, and I hope there's someone who can help:
Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x800CCC0F
Protocol: POP3
Port: 110
Secure(SSL): No
Thank you.
