Turned my computer on this morning and I have lost everything in my email box

all that is there is emails from 17.30 yesterday to now as they had not been downloaded from the server

I have read a few posts about this and tried a few things suggested but I can not seem to find anything anywhere

I started windows mail up then it rebooted itself for some reason and everything had gone

any help I would be hugely grateful

running windows 10 if that is important

Thank you

After moving from 8.0 to 8.1 I now have 2 places to go to get into WLM. I have an short cut button on the task bar that takes me to WML, but it is empty and won't download any new mail.  On the full screen menu, clicking the Mail icon  takes me to WLM, with all of my older mail, but it will not bring in new mail either, Help

Hey All,

Recently upgraded to Windows 10. Have setup mail to use my Hotmail and Bigpond (Aus ISP) accounts but the program (Mail) is cutting off the Right hand side of emails and not giving me a scroll bar. If I Zoom out the text is cut off completely.

^^ Picture with no Zoom

^^ Mail Zoomed out

The Email is text and not an image. This works fine in the webmail client of Hotmail.

Cheers

How do I keep Windows Live Mail 2012 from including the original email in replies. I'm running Windows 10.
I need to know how to re-install live essentials. I had a failed un-install and I tried to delete all the program files. However , when I try to re-install, the program says that it is installed.

Hello

I've just set up a new email. I purchased an email domain which linked up to a Google Apps account (basically, gmail). I use Windows Live Email as a client, the year 2012 edition. I try to add the account using Gmail's IMAP settings and I've tried it various different ways and get the same error:

"Your IMAP command could not be sent to the server, due to non-network errors. This could, for example, indicate a lack of memory on your system"

Anyone know what I'm doing wrong?

When you export in Windows live mail you can choose between "all folders" and "selected folders".

in the list of "selected folders" there are no imap folders(no inbox and no created imap folders):thus this mean there are no imap folders exported when you choose "all folders"?

Thanks tried that showed more folders but they were sent items deleted items and stuff from months and some years ago?? I am at a loss. The ones I want are not their. The system is Windows 7.  I did do a free upgrade to Windows 10 a few weeks ago. It was awful, so very slow and some functions had disappeared. I reverted back to 7 and this I think is where my problems started. Also when I reverted back to 7 Windows 10 was sorry etc but ok. I still have the window icon right hand side of task bar and periodically it pops up to say 10 is ready to download. I do not know how to get rid of this. P.

My problems also started after upgrading to Windows 10 and then reverting back to Windows 7.  Subsequently Live Mail started with a note stating that the  Live Mail was doing a Data recovery.  On the last occasion this notice did not show and I had lost all my personal folders some of which had (to me)important information-receipts etc..  I have also

tried to be rid of the  Windows download notice without success.  So HOW do I get my folders back?
