Windows Live Mail FAQ
Windows shuts down after 2hrs 15 / 25 mins, which isn't long enough to run a full scan. Can I set scan to restart from the point it left off, rather than begin again?
Note! Shutdown problem has been around for some time (Blue screen error?). I just want to limp along until a family member has time to sort the machine out for me.
I originally thought the problem was the cat blocking the fan vents, but it happens even when she isn't around!
Ive recently requested to change from POP to IMAP with my email provider. I will have to eventually delete the old account. so no conflict. How do I move my emails to the new IMAP account on Windows Live as if I delete the account it will delete all my emails off my computer
All of a sudden, when I open windows essentials, it asks for login info and it tells me it is wrong and it isn't - How do I fix this? I can log into windows live on the web, but not through essentials.

When I try to open Windows Live Mail on Windows 7 it does not open and shows a message that it is recvering the windows
live database and then a message that windows live has stopped working and the system hangs up until I close the message.
A perplexing problem started a few days ago. Some (an apparently random few) messages I have read and filed in my Hotmail folders are being moved to the junk folder. I move the messages back to their original folders, but the next day when I start Windows Live mail, the same messages reappear in the junk folder. I tried adding the sender to the safe sender list and changing the junk email setting to a lower level, but the messages reappear in the junk folder the next day. Some of the messages are a few months old and some are several years old. They were not sent to the junk folder when I originally received them, and they have been filed in their folders for weeks before this problem started.
I wrote yesterday for help from Microsoft, and see you did a test at 10.58 last night but my problems have not been resolved. The error message has now changed to Cx800CCCDF
I use Hotmail for business and personal so need faster and more effective response than this!

I can still access my mail on my phone or by logging into windows live, but not on my pc, I have tried a couple of the suggestions but nothing is working.

When I try to re-install, I get an error message saying there is a newer version already installed. But where?
I cannot understand where the program has gone, I cannot find it anywhere.
