Has anyone been able to successfully download windows live essential and use windows live mail?
I always get the "recovering live database" message then it says "live mail has stopped working"
I also cannot sync.. Is that because of POP3?
Any thoughts or similar experiences?
Thanks
In Windows Live Mail storage section, I have been storing correspondence in the SAVE section.
Now, I cannot find a way to access this correspondence.

I have upgraded to win 10 from win 7 and windows live mail no longer displays sub folders.
The main folders i.e Inbox deleted, my folders also display ie. Holidays but the folders below this folder have disappeared. I can find the emails in the disappeared folders by using search, if I try and create a new folder in Holidays the new folder shows as a sub folder. If I try and create a folder in Holidays using the name of a folder that does not appear live mail tells me the folder already exist.
I have accessed my account on hotmail/Outlook via the internet and the sub folders are there !!!!!
Hi
I have recently developed a problem using Windows Live Mail. When I send a message with an attachment, particularly a jpg image the recipient receives multiple copies and can't open the attachment. I sent one to myself as a test and although I received one in my in box that was OK, I also had 5 others directed to the deleted box - these were unable to be opened and showed the attachment as an "e" similar to the Microsoft symbol.
I tested sending directly via my IP Webmail and this was fine - so I assume it's a Live Mail issue.
Can anybody assist me to resolve this problem?
I have WLM set to alert me upon each new message, with a sound. Although most of the time I see a new inbox message upon hearing the sound, several times a day I receive the alert and no new message appears anyplace in WLM. (I've searched all folders.) Can you explain?
