How to access Gmail using POP3

I have a new computer with windows 7 pro , trying to get my windows live mail set up to receive email from my Gmail account with a pop3 incoming mail but it only wants to do Imap!  on my other computer it is windows 7 but my windows live mail is showing 2011 vs this one showing 2012!

What am I doing wrong ?

My boss just recently switched to Windows Live Mail and I need to set up "groups" of e-mail contacts for him under one title.  I cannot determine how to do this.  Any assistance provided would be greatly appreciated.

I am using Windows 10 on my new computer.  In process of transferring data from my external hard drive, my old MS e-mail program did not transfer. How do I get back to the program and restore my files?

I sometimes get Emails from people I know, that have attachments that have been blocked, because it is a prohibited file type.

What can I or the sender do to overcome this problem.

since upgrading to win 10 from 7 I have 3 emails in " UNREAD EMAILS" THAT ONLY APPEAR BESIDE THIS FOLDER, They cannot be opened or deleted and don't appear anywhere else in email. how do I get rid.

Changing password

I was informed that my email was blocked because they thought someone was trying to hack it.  I followed all the instructions to change the password and it did not work  After ten years of having my email I no longer have it . There seems to be no way to contact anyone to change it. I have tried everything so please no stupid responses

Why can’t I see my calendars when I’m not signed in?

I have a number of calendars in Windows Live.  For some reason recently, all but two disappear when I "sign out" of my Live account.  I very often have no internet signal, so I MUST be able to see my calendars even when I'm not signed in.  How can I keep those calendars on my PC without being in??

I have several multiple names in a Category.  When I sent an email to the Category, only part of the people receive the mail.  I have checked and the other names (the ones not receiving email is included in the Category).  What am I doing wrong?
