When I receive a reply to an email, my original email has words that look like this:

I’m - looks like this:        I’m

Didn’t - looks like this:   didn’t

Men’s - looks like this:   men’s

How can I stop this from happening?

Thanks!

My computer was backed up and all the folders that I myself created in the live mail sub folder accounts are not longer appearing.  They had quite extensive emails located in the various files and I don't know if and how to recover.  Does anyone know how to help me or direct me to a telephone number for support to speak to a live person.
adding new mail account in win10 Mail do not find POWWEB Mail account
I tried to install Live Mail after my friend accidently deleted it, and keep getting an error.

Says Couldn't install programs.

It looks like another program is preventing the installer from working

Error 0X80070643

I looked at the help and says turn on the firewall, but it's already on. I don't know why it's giving me troubles. I tried the stuff on here, like making sure windows is updated, deleting the Windows Live folders, uninstalling windows essentials....still get an error.

To add an email account

  1. Open Windows Live Mail by clicking the Start button . In the search box, type Mail, and then, in the list of results, click Windows Live Mail.
  2. In the lower-left corner, click Mail.
  3. Click the Accounts tab, and then click Email.

I clicked the start button and typed “Mail” into it the instructions state.

  1. Open Windows Live Mail by clicking the Start button  . In the search box, type Mail, and then, in the list of results, click Windows Live Mail.
  1. In the lower-left corner, click Mail.

There was no sign of “Windows Live Mail” in the results or “Mail” in the lower lefthand corner.

How to download a full install folder for Windows Live Mail 2009.  Do not want any later version for a variety of reasons.  Had WLM 2009 installed on Win 8.1 computer, it worked fine.  Had to reinstall OS, now my saved versions of the 2009 program get error code 0x80190194, which apparently is a "file not found"  code???  Did MS take that link down???

Thank you very much.

My computer died, and I had to get a new hard drive. I restored my files, and have all my old emails from Windows Live Mail. They are in several folders, and I need them.  They are all .eml files.

My new computer has Windows Live Mail 10 Version 17.6310.42251.0. How do I import my old emails so I can read them? Or, even better, how do I import them into Outlook, which I now have? (WLM is horrible - it won't save old mails, and has no folders in the inbox!)

I have lost all emails in a Saved folder with sub folders in WLM 2011.  I now have WIN10.  I have read many post in support, but none seem to work for me.  I had over 100 email saved and now they are gone.  Can anyone help me get them back?  Please.

Surely there has to be a simple method of deleting Contacts from Windows Live Mail? Why can I not just click the contact & choose Delete???
