WHY IS WINDOWS DEFENDER SO MUCH SLOW WORKING DURING A FULL SCAN ??? USING WINDOWS 10 = HELLO ?!?!

I just changed from Windows 7 to Windows 10.  When I have Windows Live Mail open and try to create a new email, the text screen defaults to a blank invisible font instead of the black font that I had previously.  In order to see the text I have to change the font to black and also change the font for the highlighter to black.  The next time I try to create a new email, the font default back to invisible.

How can I make the font default to black when a new email message is created.

Note the To: CC: BCC:  and Subject areas are OK.  It is just the text area where I am having the problem

My live mail address name was changed between 6 October and 9 October 2015 somehow, thus leaving my recipients receiving mail with a different name. How can I change this back to my original name?

After being pestered about upgrading from Windows 7 to Windows 10, I finally complied. I hated it. So I restored my Windows 7 this morning. When I opened my email and checked my defaults email account, I found I lost everything in my inbox and sent folders. I am an executor of an estate and kept all the important communications in my inbox and sent folders so I could access it quickly if needed. Now it's all gone. Can anyone tell me how to recover it?

[Original title: Windows Live Mail - email lost]

i'm trying to send a photo from a folder to a friend's email but I get this message:

"There is no email program associated to perform the requested action. Please install an email program or, if one is already installed, create an association in the Default Programs control panel"

I have Windows Live Mail, although I recently downloaded Windows Live Essentials using Windows 10.

How do I fix this?

With Windows 8, I used to be able to simply right click on a website to email a link using Windows live. Now, with Windows 10 the right click function is unavailable. Any suggestions? Thanks

[Original title: Windows Live Email]

Good Day, I am not able to send mail from one of my accounts. I'm running Windows 8.1 with Windows Live Mail. Upon sending mail

I am continually asked to enter the password for the account but when I do I an presented with the same pop-up!

I have checked all my POP3 setting quite a few times and I have had a BELL Canada technician remotely attempt to correct the problem but failed.

Whenever I go to properties for the account and click on the Servers Tab then the Advance Tab the setting for "requires password" has a check mark. I remove the checkmark and select the top option then Apply & OK. I then re-open the Properties window and find the check box to select "ask for a password" has a tick in it...again.  That's why I keep getting asked for a password when sending !! Anyone know what the heck is happening? My other email account works fine. E.L.
