Original title  - emails

with regard to windows live email account and my previous communication every time I login to the account it tries to download thousands of emails as I said I have reconfigured the account checked for virus and for to spam I add sender and domain to blocked list its driving me mad as I explained it seems to interfere with receiving proper emails. like I stated at first, all this was created in windows 7 have since upgraded to windows 10 don't know if this has made a difference

hi again, as emails come in that are spam I do this to sender and their domain. I do not see these.
also I do not see the emails that it tries to download, I'm not sure how many it would be, but at the last count before I gave up and stopped it. Was one hundred and seventy thousand and counting I'm sure it would go on for as many hours
I have no idea where they come, who they are from, I cannot view them, if in fact they are real emails.
I just need to know how to stop it all.
They do not load into the email where they can be read I have 3 emails only one is affected. But in the box where it says checking for new messages on (email address) it says downloading message 175000

I JUST WANT IT TO STOP

Each time I download email from my internet provider to my desktop computer, and click onto the email I want to view, I get a message that says I must click onto view message.  The email has no images to view, because it has been blocked for my safety.  I must always click onto "view images" button to view the email.  I use Google Chrome as my browser, is there something in the settings I am not seeing that I can change so that I do not have to click onto "view images" button ?

Thank you

Dave

I got a new computer and installed Live Mail.  I exported Contacts from my old computer and from my husband's computer.  I used Clean Up Contacts to remove the duplicates and People displays a cleaned up list without duplicates, but Contacts on my new computer remain unchanged with  all of the duplicates.  I must have missed a step in getting the cleaned up list of Contacts on People back into my new computer.
When deleting an email it sometimes deletes 2 at a time.  How can I fix this?
I have Windows 10 which came with Edge as the default browser. I have since added Google Chrome. When I click on a link in an email in Windows Live Mail it opens the link in Internet Explorer. How  can I change this to open links in one of the other browsers?

I have a new laptop running Windows 10 and have downloaded Windows Live Mail 2012. I already use this on a separate Windows 7 system successfully. I have configured it exactly the same as on the system that is working fine.

The problem is that I can no longer receive e-mails although I can send them. There is no error message - it appears to connect correctly to the ISP but says 'There are no new emails', although I can see new emails on my Windows 7 system, and through webmail, and on my Android phone.

I reported this to my ISP (Demon) who told me that I have exactly the same symptoms as some of their clients had when first using Outlook on Windows 10, but Microsoft Outlook support won't talk to me.

I have groups set up under my contact list to whom I regularly send email.  In the past year or two, the program has been randomly dropping people out of the lists, so that sometimes when I send a group email to the 58 people on one of my lists (for example) everyone on the list receives the message and other times only certain people receive it. I never know which ones are going to receive the email. The program chooses names and sends to them only. This is driving me nuts. I've uninstalled and re-installed Windows Live Mail numerous times.  The randomness and unpredictability of this behavior is just bizarre and it turns a simple 5 minute task into an hour long one as I try to figure out who got the email and who didn't. It shouldn't be this hard. I'd like to ditch Windows Live Mail and use another program but this one does have some features I like.
