Question about Outlook Express

Hi I'm using Windows Live Mail 2012 as my email program. Lately I've had a recurring problem with the connection terminating. I get the following messages: 

The server did not respond to the IM command before the connection was terminated.

code 800cccde

or:

Your server has expectantly terminated the connection. Possible causes for this includes servers problems, network problems, or a long period of inactivity.

The last message I got said: it was a non network error

this is only happening with WLM, not when I'm browsing

I called my provider and they said it was the application that was a problem, not with their server. Can anyone give me an idea on how to solve this.

I have been attempting to delete duplicate and old contacts from my windows livemail 2011 running on Windows7, which erroneously got onto the contacts list when I attempted to synchronise with my android phone by importing a csv file from my phone.

Having followed the advice on previous threads, and having a clean set of contacts on a csv file, I want to clear the current contact list completely.

I have removed the link between livemail and google and Skype and having gone into livemail I have successfully deleted all contacts that had an 'address book' field. However this leaves some 270 contacts that will not delete (the delete cross remains greyed out rather than red).

I have also gone into MS People and deleted all entries in there so this is now clear.

I would be really grateful for any advice that you have to enable me to clear my current WLM contact list so that I can start again with a clean list.

I updated my telephone number in outlook.com and afterwards Windows Live Mail 2012 isn't able to sync with my hotmail account anymore.

I have deleted my hotmail account from WLM 2012 and reinstalled it, still doesnt work.

I've tried every possible way that i could find on the internet but still no result.

How do i get my account to work and sync properly again in WLM 2012?

I have Windows 7 Live Mail 2012. I have a POP3 account.

I have recently started getting duplicate emails, sometimes triplicate. What is causing this? How do I stop it?

I have unchecked the option' 'Do not leave messages on the server' in the advanced section of Properties which at them moment seems to have stopped the flood but what is the best course of action?

When I go to my windows live to get my email, an error message comes up saying:There was an error when attempting to connect to the Windows Live Calendar service. If the error persists, check to see if there's an upgrade of Windows Live Mail available or contact a service representative.    How do you get this update or the upgrade ?  Is anyone else having this problem?

11/27/2015  For several weeks now, I've been getting the same error message on my desktop computer Windows 8.1, Using Windows live Mail when receiving mail. I have no issues Sending Mail, it only gets hung up Receiving Mail. And eventually, it will work, but I get the same error message over and over, until finally it downloads. I cannot find help anywhere else and have tried over and over. This is the exact message I get:

I wanted to integrate a Gmail-account in Windows Live Mail, but when I get an email or copy an email from a different account into this Gmail folder he automatically makes a copy on the Gmail server. I don't want that, I want my emails only in the Live Mail, but I didn't find the correct button yet. With other accounts it works fine...

Is there a function to keep my mails in the Live mail on my computer or is that impossible with Gmail?
