For a week we have been unable to send emails. when we click on the new email button a box with 'a problem occurred while trying to open this message' comes up. we are receiving emails fine. to try to sort it we have removed and reinstalled windows live essential but has given no change.
I recently downloaded from my lap top to a tablet my live mail. I have many e-mail, in sorting I have flagged the e-mails that I need to work on and now I want to put them in a created folder marked "important" and delete the rest that I have already gone through HOW DO I DO THAT. TO SIMPLY TRANSFER FROM FLAGGED TO A FOLDER

from over a year ago to current message.
My live mail is " crashing" if you will and these messages are coming in over and over and are now showing up as not read.
I can't remember the exact error message before this happens, something about it is recovering the data, something to that effect... best I can remember.
This happened back in 2013 and has happened 3 times in the last two weeks, annoying is putting it mildly.
Now I have over a thousand email msgs. with many many sub folders under " storage folders", a Microsoft person helped me out over the phone to recoup my email back during that first crash and got the storage folders set up. ( I lost a lot of email due to that deal too , not readable. )
Now over a thousand emails ( the same ones) are in my storage folders and my regular inbox and showing up as unread.
Some of these I have deleted over and over and over but they keep coming back in.
What can I do to stop this madness from happening...is this a result of some " cloud" issues ?
I don't know how to back up my email but am willing learn to keep what I need to, dump this live mail program and start all over, this is absolutely ridiculous.
Still using windows 7 home premium SP 1, am scared to death the go to windows 10 in fear of not being able to get anything to download at all in my email program.
An email got stuck in my outbox earlier today. I deleted it. All subsequent emails are now stuck in the outbox. I logged out of Windows Live Mail and now I can't get back in except to see a message that says "send 2 messages using Comcast" and it's been trying to send for 2 hours. The emails that are stuck are only a couple sentences each, so it's not the volume that's causing the problem.
I don't think Comcast is the issue as I was able to login to Comcast online and send and receive messages.
Can anyone help??
Before upgrading to Windows 10 I have used BT Yahoo Mail (webmail) which worked fine for me.
I use mail lists or contact groups so I can send one message to many people in a group.
The mail service provided by Windows 10 seems not to support contact groups.
If it does support contact groups I can't figure it.
Any ideas please?
Using Windows 7 64 bit:
I have 6 email accounts on Windows Live email and Everything was fine then one day I cant open/ view / delete any email from the General inbox. When I click on one message I get error message and email won't open. Now if I can go to the individual email accounts inbox/saved/deleted boxes I can delete but I cant view. I Might add that usually you see a small portion of the email on the right side of the screen, those are gone, just a blank area now. I Tried deleting program and reinstalling, (several times) I tried the windows install/delete helper and no change. I deleted 95% of the emails and then reinstalled again and no change. I deleted the 'mail" folder and then reinstalled and set up new email accounts and still get same error message. Moved messages to Outlook and everything is fine there. But cant get live mail to work at all.
After updating to Windows 10, my Storage Folders from the Windows 7 Live Mail are missing. Is there any way to recover them?
Also, my IMAP email address has only recovered emails from the past 6 weeks.
As many others in this forum I have been waiting for a 2015 update to Windows Live Mail or to Windows Live Essentials, but someone below wrote there will be no update/upgrade for 2015, and yet both www.softonic.com as well as download.cnet.com display a product identified as "2015 Windows Live Mail" or "Windows Live Mail 2015 for Windows 7 and 8.1."
My current version of Live Mail is LiveMail.2012.build.16.4.3528.0331 -- but the build 16 on these websites correlates with the 2015 update for Windows Live Mail.
Why do builds match but 2015 update/upgrade version is omittted?
Thank you.
