Unable to send or receive with BT

I am unable to send or received emails.  I have spent the last 3 hours talking to bt (internet provider) and Microsoft Support but I am no further forward.  I am tearing my hair out now.  I need access to my email account on a daily basis.  I have no idea why it has stopped working but I am really struggling to get someone to rectify this situation.  Can you help

Windows windows live mail 2012: I am a rookie trying to help my 92 year old dad. Appears properties will not activate to allow us to change passwords and retrieve emails. I am finding advice that says uninstall and reinstall, but a dumb question: how do I know what version of Windows he's on? Don't want to uninstall and discover I created a worse problem. Fast help appreciated. Right now nothing is landing or sending.

When I try to clean out the duplicates in my live mail contacts list and I press the 'Clean up Contacts' button, I am taken to the microsoft account login screen. I duly login but I can get no further with cleaning up my contacts list. 

A very minor problem I know, but irritating none the less. Can anybody help please?

Hi All, coming to you as I've exhausted all my ways of trying to sort this out - which is very few. Not had a problem with my windows Live mail until yesterday afternoon - Receiving emails Ok but when I tried to forward or send on an email I got  Microsoft Net Framework message - Unhandled exception has occurred in your application - then Quit or Continue options followed by Customised cultures cannot be passed by LCID only by name. I copied the full details of the error message which I saved on a word doc if its needed - this ends with references to configuring the JIT debugging process.  I've tried the repair option on Windows Live Essentials 2011 but it cuts off during the process saying the internet has been lost - which it hasn't. I've also run Malwarebytes Anti-malware which I have on my laptop - no results. also Running Norton and no problem there either. Can anyone help with a solution or talk me through what I need to do. Many thanks.

Window Live Mail won’t open now. Window 10 was upgraded on 10/11/15 and has been working.

As I click the window live mail task bar, blue wheel spinning but cannot open.  This happened this afternoon only.

I upgraded from Window 7 to Window 10 on 10/11/15 and the Window Live Mail has been working.  

Would like to get help about this matter.  Thanks

Hotmail error 3204 after upgrading to Windows 10

This is the dialogue box I see when I try to pull my email from Windows Live Mail for this address.

Unable to send or receive messages for the Hotmail (tedinhalifax) account.

Server Error: 3204
Server: 'https://mail.services.live.com/DeltaSync_v2.0.0/Sync.aspx'
Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x8DE20003

Is the Server address the problem?  It only started after upgrading to Win10.

Suddenly whenever I print out an email, each comma prints as three gibberish symbols that do not even appear on my keyboard. I have to distribute paper copies of certain emails, and this makes them difficult to read.

Messages can’t be found

Hi,  I had upgraded to Windows 10 and then decided I did not like it and rolled it back my Windows 7.  However my email has many issues now.  Including it downloaded a bunch of messages from the last three years.  However what I am having trouble with is all the emails that I saved in my subfolders.  I t shows the header of the email but the emails say they can not be found.  does anyone know how to repair this?
