First my laptop with Win10 then the desktop with Win 10 pro keeps asking for sign in but wont accept, then the error notice below appears. The lap has done it before and corrected after removing some items from the taskbar, this time no luck. Desk started asking after up grading as per Microsoft letter re upcoming changes to email including Windows live 12. Deleted then reinstalled, same problem. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Original Title: folders and subfolders

today all of a sudden my folders wont go above 22 and when i deleted them all and tried again it would not let me, saying i had to many folders

Upgraded from Win-7-Home-Prem to Win-10.  Was using Win Live Mail (2011-Updated)  Able to access all accounts EXCEPT my ISP EMail Account.  Get Error Code #0x80004005!

When attempting to access for D/L or Sync Mail.  I verified the login credentials several times by logging in Directly to my ISP Account EMail and verifying the POP and IMAP parameters.  Still, No Success!

Same Issue when attempting to access ISP Account Mail on other unit in my network for SAME ISP.

ISP is Time Warner Cable...   @roadrunner.com.

Any Thoughts?

I just received an email to say that Windows Live Mail 2012 needs to be upgraded otherwise it will not work.

I am using WLM 2009 under XP. Does that mean that it also will stop working? Can I upgrade to WLM 2012 on an XP machine.

I want to ensure I don't loose all the setup of WLM that I have now.

I hope the answer that the answer isn't to upgrade to Windows 8 or 10. I tried windows 8. There were simply too many things that didn't work properly, so I had to revert back to XP.

Ive been using this app for a number of years and love it.

Im running Windows 8.1 as I couldnt get it to work on Windows 10

I have several hotmail accounts and other accounts like gmail that sync perfectly.

I installed the Microsoft suggested update, all accounts are fine except for one hotmail account,

it just so happens to be my main account. Hahaha NOT.

It returns the error ID 0x80004005

I have deleted the account from the app and reloaded it. It seems to be seeing the account as it does display the folders but before it starts to sync the files it fails with the error ID 0x80004005.

After searching this forum I used the Outlook app and accessed the account, I deleted all entries in the "Safe senders", "Safe mailing lists" & "Blocked senders" as suggested, it hasnt made any difference.

I have browsed all the settings and options and cant find anything wrong.

Windows live mail cannot send messages - and cannot receive messages - I'm on the same laptop computer that I have used to do this all along and am connected to the server.  It keeps asking me for my password - I entered the password that I have written down and also one other that it could possibly be and it again and again keeps asking for my password and won't send or receive messages.  I got on my hughes.net email account to see if I could figure out the password issue and also checked my Windows Live Mail Properties settings and even changed the password on that and entered the same one when asked and it did not work.

I'm in the process of changing over from Hughes.net to Verizon - and I tried to add the Verizon account to Windows Live Mail when this happened.  I do still need Hughes.net to work on Live Mail since I need to let people know my new email address.

I've been trying to get this to work for hours and cannot get emails to be received or sent on Windows Live Mail.  Help!

I received an email today from Microsoft telling me that my Windows Live Mail 2012 will not work in a few weeks without loading KB3093594.

So I clicked the link, downloaded and installed on my Windows 10 Pro 64.

Now my Live Mail starts up and appears fine for about 7 to 8 seconds then crashes with the error popup "Windows Live Mail has stopped working  -   A problem caused the program to stop working correctly" etc.

I pressed the debug button and it says that I will be notified if a solution is available.

Went to system restore, only to find that it is disabled.

Now what???

P.S. I attempted to use the new default Windows 10 mail application and was VERY disappointed.

installed live mail off of email it said on program downloaded repair or remove. said repair when done it no longer works.
