After installing KB3093594 in December 2015, I am no longer able to see the full message headers in the Windows Live Mail 2012 client on Windows 7. Hitting crtl-f3, or going to Properties...Details...Message Source only shows brief headers. When I forward the email as an attachment, only the brief headers are shown. My version shows as: Version 2012 (Build 16.4.3563.0918)
The headers now show like this:
From: <*** Email address is removed for privacy ***>
To: <*** Email address is removed for privacy ***>
Subject: RonicaMorgania KKeep oone's shirt oon annd try to deide hhow to treat erectle dysfuunction.

Again, this only started after applying that KB update.
I CAN NOT DOWNLOAD Update for Windows Live Essentials Mail 2012 (KB3093594)
**THIS IS THE MESSAGE I GET
Original Title: Live mail issue
I upgraded to Windows 10 a few months ago and everything was working find until suddenly the windows live mail failed. I have no idea what happened. I can still access my mail through outlook. When I use live mail, I keep getting the message 'MSVCR110.dll is missing'. I do not know how to fix.
Hi,
Recently I reinstalled my Lenovo laptop by restore OS from factory default recovery partition. My OS is Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit (Language, Simplified Chinese).
Then I installed Windows Live Mail (WLM) 2012 as my email client. Strange thing is, I have 2 hotmail accounts, one works perfectly once setup in WLM, the second one however, could not display Chinese properly in sender field only (it is ok in title field, and no problem in reading panel), as shown below.
I tried tweaking WLM options a bit, but no help. Again, the other hotmail account don't have this problem at all, the only difference for this 2 hotmail account is that the good one originally was applied from Windows Live China website, the problematic one was applied from Singapore website. But before I reinstall the system, the 2 accounts work fine in WLM.
I bing/googled the topic, but unfortunately no useful suggestion was found.
Please help if anyone knows what is going wrong, thank you very much!
Jun
Hello,
I am hoping someone here might know something...
OS: Windows 8.1 (JP)
WLM version: Version 2012 (Build 16.4.3563.0918)
Default character encoding: Japanese
Problem:
-After installing KB3093594 the sender's name gets corrupted
-No problem for the titles, mail messages, recipient etc.
-No problem if sender's name contains alphabets/numbers
Only if the sender's name is Japanese(contains kanji characters), the characters get corrupted
I've tried changing the character encoding to other Japanese languages,
UTF-8 etc. but it doesn't really solve anything. The mail messages get corrupted instead.
In the Japanese community, the discussion ended by someone telling the user
to stop using Windows Live Mail or to change to IMAP server.
But since this problem came from the KB3093594 update
I prefer to fix this issue without changing to IMAP server(well that would be the last resort).
I've checked out KB3093594 related postings and the one below but still can't figure out the the way to solve this issue.

Has anyone experienced the same problem?
