Windows Live Mail on Windows 10 does not shut down properly.

My Windows Live mail just started not shutting down properly. The only way to restart was to go into task manage and stop it. Now it does not start at all. Just shows the live mail logo and starts caching. Can someone help me?

Hello,

I've downloaded the patch for WLM 2012. When I go to run it, there isn't an option to update WLM. The only options are "Repair" and "Remove". How do I run the update?

1    -    old .live email I wish to recover

2   -     old gmail I recently recovered

3   -     my current and signed in here email

I would like to recover an email account.  I changed the password somehow one day to something like 20 characters long and could never regain it.  I only inquire due to the lost meta information from attachments I emailed myself.  I am looking for an attachment specifically called AY or ay or A.Y. or a.y.         1

Any help would be appreciated.

Please email me for the lost .live (1) email address please, I had it forwarded to my older one (2), which I also could not get into, but I finally managed to dig up the password after a couple years.  So I currently have two (2, and 3) and would like to merge them.

Also, when I used my new email (3), as a recovery for (2) I was blasted with spam ... from my old (2) one, quite disturbing.  So I cancelled 3 as a recovery for 2 but the spam is still getting through.  Until then my email 3 was completely spam free.  Oh the woe

So I guess I have 3 questions.

Can I recover my 1 email

Can I stop the spam from 2 to 3

Can I merge 2 and 3 minus the spam

Unable to Receive email for sbcglobal.net on Windows Live Mail (again)

Just over a year ago, I was having problems receiving email on Windows Live Mail for my sbcglobal.net account. It started working again after a few days and it's not clear to me what made it work again. Recently, I started having problems again and haven't been able to get any emails since yesterday. It's the same message I received over and over again last time:

Unable to send or receive messages for the Sbcglobal account. Your server has unexpectedly terminated the connection. Possible causes for this include server problems, network problems, or a long period of inactivity.

Windows LiveMail 2011-Windows 10-32mbg Laptop. Several, Not all, Folders with Emails FROM/SUBJECT/DATE. when open to read, has INCORRECT FROM/SUBJECT/DATE. This could be related to "recovering unused disk space".

I use windows live on my pc windows 7 and it was working. Your Dec 11 email suggested I run latest windows live 2012 update. I did, now can't send or achieve mail. restore failed too. now I'm without mail!  What now!

We received the email from Microsoft telling us to run the update in order to keep using Windows Live Mail (2012). The update killed our email. We have two Dell laptops. One with W10 and one with W7. We have 4 email accounts added to the Windows Live Email program. 3 are @Live accounts and 1 is an @Hotmail account. The update killed our ability to update and to receive our email in the various accounts. They just stopped updating and receiving. Sending is questionable. It appears the updates and aps it asked us to use also screwed up the email accounts on our iPhones. They too do not seem to be receiving or updating. Not sure one has to do with the other, but it is a coincidence, as the timing and issue occurred after running the requested update on both of our laptops (W10 and W7). There is no doubt, the update MS insisted we install, killed our Windows Live Mail accounts on the two laptops. Did MS not TEST this first? And what do we all do now that our mail programs are screwed up? Is MS unaware of what they did? Any plans for a solution?

ok I downloaded windows 10. I always use windows live to recive all my emails like Hotmail but now I cant says password is incorrect and whats so funny now is my iPhone 5 and  my ipad don't even have my Hotmail account no more. what is going on here it was working fine until I have gotten windows 10 , I'm a pissed off I want my Hotmail back and back on my apple divces. I have windows 7 home
