I asked the question and you did not answer it when you replied on Decmeber 25, so I asked it again, and I have not heard anything.
As of now, my choices seem to be: lose ability to use WLive 2012 when you upgrade Outlook.Com, or install a patch that makes the Sent "TO" info useless, since the "TO" of all mail sent while your patch is installed is shown as the name of the Sender--not the recipient, so it looks like all email that I send is sent to MYSELF!
Shall I expect that you will issue a future patch that will work correctly with Wlive 2012 on Win7? Or shall I start shopping for a new email service?
Will you please answer the question?
Thank you.

I was notified that my windows live mail was now outlook.com mail. all of my emails are actually on outlook but are not sent to my PC.
I cannot send from my default or receive email. I have updated Windows Live mail. No Change.
My email is coming in and I am able to send normally but the incoming email is not showing the email subject, sender, message or anything about the email other than time sent.
This is happening with only one email account within Windows Live. I have just updated to 2012 and the problem still exists and tried the fix within the essentials program too to no avail.
When I deleted one of the Gmail accounts today, two new emails come through right after and the emails were showing everything as normal. I tried to send another test email from a table a few minutes after that and it was right back to the same problem. Currently I have only one other Gmail account set up in there for a total of two. Again the Gmail account is receiving emails normally and the Road Runner email is the problem. I am able to get normal email from the Road Runner email server but want to use Windows Live.
This happened all of a sudden on 12/08/2015 and at the same time this email address stop sending emails to my phone as well.
Any help would be appreciated!
Hello,
I have been using Windows Live Mail 2012 as my primary email app for a while now, with no trouble. But this afternoon, my account started downloading thousands of old emails from the past several months, which had already been read, sorted, and/or deleted, as if they are unread. Is there any solution to this problem? I would prefer to not have to switch to another email app.
I am using Windows 8.1.
Thanks!
