Some time between 17:22 and 22:16 GMT on 21-DEC-2015 WL 2012 stopped retrieving Inbox items from Hotmail.
Can still send (but not shown in Sent Items).
New Inbox items are on the (Outlook.com) server, but WL 2012 reports No new email messages.
KB3093594 was applied on 11-DEC-2015 and send/receive worked OK until 21-DEC-2015.
Tried a Repair of Windows Live Essentials, but still not working.
Any suggestions as to what the problem might be?
My windows live mail has not been working very well so I called my service provider. They had me delete the email accounts(2) that I had on this computer and add them back. When I add them back it says I have to download the folders. When I click the download it pops a box up and it looks like I am supposed to add my folders like inbox, sent items, deleted items, etc. Is this what I am supposed to do? What folders should I put here? Do I type them in one at a time or what? Is there something else I should be doing?
Thank you,
Moved to windows essentials
I have tried three times to ask this question, and keep being referred to various discussions of OTHER problems with the patch for Wlive 2012 KB3093594.
I am not asking about other problems with the patch. I am asking about one problem that I do not see clearly described or acknowledged in this community, on Techneet, or anywhere else.
Can you please answer these very simple and very specific questions:
1) Does Microsoft know that after applying the patch the "To" field in "Sent Items" shows erroenous information (it lists the sender as the recipient in the To field for all emails sent after the patch is applied to WLive 2012 on a Win 7 machine. Rmoving the patch and re-installing Wlive 2012 does NOT change this erroneous listing in the "TO" field of the Sent items folder).
2) Will a patch that works with ActiveSynch AND corrects this flaw in previous patches be issued by Microsoft before upgrading Outlook Com?
Thank you.
I have windows 10 and live mail 2012. When ever I open mail I get an error that says mail could not update the calendar. How do I get rid of this problem?
[Original title: windows live mail]
I believe my Windows Live Mail is defaulted to C Drive and all data are stored in C Drive.
i am currently running short of space and will like to move all my data for Windows Live Mail to D drive. Whats the proper way to do this without losing data and not losing my last read pointer? I have a few email accounts managed by Windows Live Mail.
Thanks in advance!
