This may be a bit difficult to describe, so please bear with me. I'm having trouble with WLM. There are messages in my inbox that I am unable to delete. I can't open them and a line appears through the Subject and Sender, as well as a red X on the envelope icon. In addition, I often get a message indicating the email message is "No longer on the server."

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,

We are using Windows 10 and Windows Live Mail Version 2012 (Build 16.4.3528.0331)

Yesterday, we started seeing a problem when trying to open some of our emails.

A pop-up message stated:

"A problem occurred while trying to open this message. A problem has occurred. Please try again."

If we looking in the Windows Live Mail log we see this detail each time:

[16:13:46.42] 1f0c                 Mail:            Zone_MailChk ERROR: (note.cpp:2771), failed with 0x800C006C
[16:13:50.08] 1f0c                 Mail:            Zone_MailChk ERROR: (note.cpp:2771), failed with 0x800C006C

We can open some emails ok.

After reading the forums, we ran a SFC and DISM but they came back clean:

Microsoft Windows [Version 10.0.10586]

C:Windowssystem32>sfc /verifyonly
Beginning system scan.  This process will take some time.
Beginning verification phase of system scan.

Please can anyone advise what might be wrong?

Thanks!!

A few weeks back I received an email from Microsoft asking me to apply a patch (KB3093594) if I wanted to continue using Windows Live Mail 2012 on Windows 7.  I updated.  Today I realized mail on the default email account (I use several on WLM) was not syncing.  I found some information that said the original patch was bad and applied the newest version.  But my main account is still not syncing.  This is all I could find:

Please fix this ASAP.

Since the recent update on the 11th  Dec All emails I send using my live.co.uk account are sent as an unknown sender, and when sent  are titled  in the listed  'To'  columns as  myself instead of the recipient .The account column is now blank . Also from time to time the Font changes at random until all new emails are read and live mail is reloaded, then it usually returns to normal. Emails sent now take ages to appear in the  sent folder  instead of instantly as previously . What an earth is going on its awful now!

Since refreshing Windows 10 I have lost all history of Windows Live Mail   Inbox or Sent Items particularly

I am presently using a Verizon email address but receiving it thru Window Live which I like very much but Verizon will soon be switch its email system to AOL once the switch is made I will still be able to use my Verizon email address but it will be routed thru AOL.  Will I still be receiving my emails thru Windows Live?
