Question about Outlook Express

Cannot receive any Windows Live mail.  Tried the repair, Uninstalled and reinstalled windows Live Mail, updated to the latest version, saved and imported contacts and folders successfully however, in box mail starts at 9/29/2012 with nothing newer.  Reason for the un - reinstall was my primary emaill address would not work for incoming.  Spent a lot of time with ATT (U-Verse internet) - all settings are correct, should work.

Now after un - reinstall NONE of my 8 emails will receive incoming.  Checking for new messages box comes, says "receiving" but nothing happens - eventually times out & stops with "failed" response on ALL addresses.  Then an error message comes up - "The server you are connected to is using a security certificate that could not be verified.  The Certificates CN name does not match the passed value.  Do you want to continue using this server?  Whatever that means???

"I can go to ATT website and OUTLOOK and see current emails. I was forced to use WLM when Outlook Express was discontinued.  Would not mind going to Outlook if I could import all my contacts, stored folders and current mail.

Please help.  Struggling with this for hours and hours and it is crippling my ability to run my e-commerce business.

There seems to be an issue (or at least it seems to be so) in Windows Live Mail. Whenever I try to add a picture and click Insert ->Single Photo, by default it opens the window in the Windows Pictures folder instead of the last folder I added attachments from.

This is annoying whenever I send several emails with pictures, as I have to navigate again to the last used folder every time I insert a single image. Is there a way to change this? I searched the forums but didn't find a suitable answer.

I use Windows 10 with WLM 2012 (16.4.3528.0331). I have several computers with the same software and this happens in all of them.

I used the patch update a couple of weeks ago (the 2nd version) and have had to redo it several times.  Over the past couple fo weeks, WLM works intermittently and today is crashing constantly.

I've tried to use the update patch again, however it has completely disappeared from Windows site.  I have clicked the link in the email that Outlook sent through in December but page no longer exists.

What is going on??

This is causing me huge difficulties as I run 10+ email accounts through WLM.

Please can someone help.  I don't want to uninstall and reinstall as I will lose all emails saved in various holders.

Also just got an error message:

When I send an email to a particular recipient a message pops up that the recipient is invalid.  Previous to this happening I had been able to send/receive emails on a regular basis.  I can still receive emails from this individual.  

The message states " Can not send message.  Some of the recipients of this message are invalid"

Any help out there?
