Still having problems - When I attach a photo to an email the recipient gets 5 emails but no photo.
Also, when I attach a large word or pdf doc. the recipient gets several emails with attachment pages of random letters and symbols (code?). Small word docs do OK.
I have already run the "Repair all Windows Live program" under Uninstall a Program.
Ever since I installed the latest update of Windows Live Mail ... in December 2015 ... the Delete and Block button doesn't function. It appears, but when I click it, nothing happens.
Has anybody else experienced this problem?

Okay then, I'm using live mail / hotmail and when I create email and begin to type in the name, it pulls it from 'contact', which is part of the online live mail service. Fine so far ...
However, today for some unknown reason it does nothing. Diddly squat nothing.
It's as if I have no contacts at all under the live mail 'people' section, or that the two elements of the service are no longer connected. Logged off. Logged on. Nowt. Nothing. Zilch ...
Any answers please.

I have recently installed AVG internet security package and wondered if this might have something to do with the problem (AVG Support says not!)

(2) What is the expiry date of the 2012 version

I'm running Vista on my computer and it can't be updated to Windows Live Mail 2012 according to the specs. I'm also unable to get the free update to Windows 10 on Vista. I currently have Live, Hotmail, and Gmail synced to my computer. What will happen to my ability to receive my all of them without updating?
I also have a computer running WLM 2012 but will be upgrading to Windows 10 after tax season . . . just to be on the safe side in case there is a glitch. Should I install the WLM 2012 update on that computer for now?
Please note that Windows Live was a free download, if that matters at all.

When I upgraded to Windows 10 my Windows Live Mail stopped working. When I try to send or receive emails I get Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x800C013E.
Live mail was working fine on Windows 7 64.
