Question about Outlook Express

Hi there,

I am currently using Outlook and I am trying to download Windows Live Mail 2012 onto my new Dell Inspiron 15, 5000 series.

Every time I've tried to download the installer, the error code 0x80040800 comes up, requiring me to restart my laptop.

I've done so multiple times now, and the error continuously comes back.

Is there a way around this error, or is there a reason restarting the laptop as requested doesn't get recognized as being done?

Windows 7, WLM and Outlook email problems

I am at my wits end.  Windows live mail stopped receiving mail for my primary address (i have 8 total accounts) so tried to switch to Outlook.  now both outlook and WLM are downloading thousands of old emails. I have been struggling with this for weeks, emailed the community several times.  Get one problem resolved and a new one or two or three arise.  isn't there someone I can talk to on the phone????

I'm wanting to easily take a business card of one of my contacts and send that contact info to someone else.

In Windows live mail, is there a way to simply get the contact info from one of your contacts and send it to someone else?

I'm not talking about my own business card... Sending that is easy... I'm talking right out of my contacts and send to another contact.

Sometime in the past month Microsoft requested that I update WLM in anticipation of a change to Outlook, which I allowed.  Since then, emails don't automatically download to WLM at all times during the day. Generally, no problem first thing in the morning when I turn on the computer.  The first several times this happened I closed WLM, and upon reopening, the downloads took place.  That doesn't work any longer. After going to outlook.com, confirming that there were new messages there, and returning to WLM new messages would download, but that doesn't happen any longer either.

Ideas?

Attempted to set up a 3rd gmail address in WLM and I have used the 2 accounts that are already working as a guide. All 3 gmail accounts have their own separate password. When attempting to download into WLM I keep getting the Login/Password Rejection notice. Can anyone help me?
