Original Title: States sent too amny messages

Hi over the last couple of days I have had some problems with 2 computers accessing email accounts.

One computer which had been working ok suddenly dropped all access to sending or receiving emails - this had to be reprogrammed and still only partially works but I can't access send or receive any work related emails address' on it

However my main computer has been using the same set up for quite a while suddenly cant send emails with this error code

An error occurred while sending mail. The mail server responded:  Too many messages (2.4.1.1)

I have tried everything - but to no avail - and have cleared the sent folders but still the same.

I did notice that BT (who are also my internet providers) were working next door yesterday  so question... would them working on the lines and trying to add fibre optic in the area do this ? or is a computer glitch ?

any help would be greatly apprecaiated !

Thanks

I am using window live mail as an email client on my desktop and configured my pop account into it. In the starting everything was going fine. But from last two weeks I am facing an issue, when I am trying to forward an email using window live mail from send items or inbox, the forwarding page is taking too long time to open i.e. nearly 20 to 25 seconds or more. It seems that there might be some issues of viruses or something is blocking it from opening. This is quite awkward.

I have tried my best doing repairing of wlm and uninstalling and installing it again, scanned with malwarebytes and other software too, but nothing works. I have also searched for help online, tried but same nothing works.
Overall request someone to please help me out of this situation. I would be kind thankful to his/her kind attention to my query.

I purchased a new PC and was able to install WLM 2012 on it, and all my contacts and calendar entries transferred over just fine. However, I cannot find a way to transfer all of the Storage Folders (and the email messages that were there) from the old PC to the new one. I was told by Dell support to look for the ".pst" file on the old PC, and to copy it onto a flash drive and transfer that file to the new PC desktop. I am not able to locate any file that shows as a .pst file - and have even read some comments that WLM 2012 does not contain a .pst file. Can anyone tell me where mail that was in the storage folders is located? I can see the actual storage folders within the Microsoft/WindowsLiveMail/Storage folders in the AppData/Local file location - but the messages are not there. And while I can see the folders listed in that file location, they do not show up when I open Windows Live Mail in the new PC. They still appear on the old PC, and I can access them there.

I keep getting this message in Window Live Mail:

Frequently I send a word doc to a person and I use the File/Save & Send/Send Using E-mail and Send as Attachment.  I have windows 10 but still use Windows Live Mail as my primary email app.  WLM freezes if I tab from subject line.  Once the cursor lands on the attachment I can't do anything except close the program.  Is this a known glitch, and if so what is the solution?  I could tab through before windows 10.

My regular Hotmail (Windows 7) account works. However, if I try to send a MSN news article by clicking on the "email" icon. the email windows opens, I type the address, send, and within 20 seconds I get the following "Unable to send or receive messages for the Hotmail account. Server Error 3219. Windows Live Mail Error ID: Ox8DE00005. The same occurs when I scan a document and the default Windows Live account goes through same notification.

Any suggestions most welcome. Thanks.

I am unable to send or receive emails through Windows Live Mail. Although Outlook works fine.

What can I do to fix this problem?

I recently upgraded to Windows Mail version 12 and prior to that I had been using version 9. This version offers custom colors which the other did not. There are 16 white squares when I go to custom colors. I understand how to make the custom colors, but when I save it, it goes in one of the white box fine until I make another custom color. At that time when I say OK, it replaces the first color. I would think there should be a way that I could add 16 custom colors in all of the white boxes instead of just replacing the one all the time. If there is a way to do it would someone please tell me. And if there is, then I would need to know how to delete one if I got tired of it and wanted to replace it with a different one.

A BIG THANK YOU to anyone who can help me!
