Unable to print windows live mail e-mails. Can print WORD documents and pictures. Only problem with e-mails.
I have loaded Windows Essentials onto my new Windows 10 laptop. Windows Live Mail works fine, but the look and feel of the list of email messages seems broken on Windows 10. I can't see how to change it. Before on Windows 8.1 I had columns "@ From Subject
Date". Now I have a line for the subject (in bigger font), and on the right of that line is the Time/Date and attachment icons. Under the subject there is the From field and a blank line that cuts off the top half of the subject line. My main complaint is
that the subject line is cut off, although it would be nice to be able to set columns as I could before.
WHEN I GET AN EMAIL THAT THE PROGRAM THINKS ITS JUNK IT JUST DELETS IT RATHER THAN SEND IT TO JUNK MAIL SOME OF IT IS NOT JUNK
Why does Windows live mail reset itself sometimes, you lose everything, all your folders your mail, and everything... The server will download it all again, but you have to go set up everything again, and reset all you rules and junk rules and everything.

Windows Live Mail Problem
I have a friend who uses an Acer laptop recently updated to Windows 10 from Windows 7.
Several weeks before, he lost the ability to log in to his Windows Live Email. When he clicks on WLM desktop icon, a box entitled Mail comes up with the message “Sorry there was a problem signing in”. There was an OK and Cancel button at the bottom.
Clicking OK brings up “WLM Sign In” box. It asks for the email address and password then to click on the Sign In button. There is a link underneath asking for Windows Live ID. I am told my friend does not have one but when he clicks on the Sign In button at the bottom, the Mail box referred to above comes back.
I have read other posts similar to this but they not being quite the same, has anyone any suggestion please on how to get over the problem.

I am so sick and tired of WLM not learning that my Junk Mail is Junk Mail. Why is it that day after day after day, I tell it the same thing over and over again that WhatsApp, google notifier etc are Junk and I do not want any of them sent to ANY box on WLM Win10?
What is the use of putting SCAM and Junk into the WLM ribbon if neither of them work intelligently. I have never been to WhatsApp for any reason whatsoever so why does it land up in my email? Does anyone have a solution that fixes this rubbish once and for all? Thank you for posting it if you do.
I received a notification that due to a change in MSN email, I would not be able to receive my MSN email via Windows Live Mail 2012 without running an update. I ran the update (multi times) but stopped receiving MSN email on the Live Mail program, although
I am able to send via the MSN email, and send/receive 2 other email adds in the program. I am running Windows 10 and using the email app, but am very unimpressed with it. Any help to restore my receiving MSN email via the Live Mail program would be appreciated.

Is there anyway to use the contacts i have in my gmail account with windows live mail? i know i could export them from gmail and then import them on to windows live mail but that is not an option in today's world.
I would like to continue using this client but need reciprocal access to my contacts in gmail, is there a way?
Hi over the last couple of days I have had some problems with 2 computers accessing email accounts.
One computer which had been working ok suddenly dropped all access to sending or receiving emails - this had to be reprogrammed and still only partially works but I can't access send or receive any work related emails address' on it
However my main computer has been using the same set up for quite a while suddenly cant send emails with this error code
An error occurred while sending mail. The mail server responded: Too many messages (2.4.1.1)
I have tried everything - but to no avail - and have cleared the sent folders but still the same.
I did notice that BT (who are also my internet providers) were working next door yesterday so question... would them working on the lines and trying to add fibre optic in the area do this ? or is a computer glitch ?
any help would be greatly apprecaiated !
