Good morning,

Im after so much needed help with regards to my sister in laws account. She (currently living in Australia) text me last week to help her as she all of a sudden can not sign into her account.

She very rarely uses her account but now needs it as she is buying a house, we have tried all the avenues so please DO NOT TELL US TO TRY THIS AGAIN!! She no longer has access to the phone number provided on the account and has only ever had ONE password.

We have tried filling out all the forms they have asked us to which we are supposedly meant to hear back from Microsoft within 24 hours.... this was over a week of trying this so called 24 hours response.

She is now getting desperate to have her account back and running and i can not find another way to get this resolved.

PLEASE, Please can someone offer us a resolve or some sensible advice.

Thank you in advance.

Dominique

I have contacts in Windows Live 2012 in an outlook.com email account.

Setting up this email account in Outlook 2016 has transferred all the emails no problem - I am therefore guessing it is "syncing" OK.

However, there are no contacts transferred.

I've exported my contacts from Windows Live 2012 as a CSV file, and resaving in Excel as comma delinated.

However, on trying to importing them into Outlook 2016, I get this error:

Can anyone suggest what to do?

Zoe

( As a side issue, all my contacts are also in groups - I'd love to keep them thus, but sounds like that might be a whole other ball game..)

When opening Live Mail, I get the following message.  I can still receive and send mail, but I have to close the Error Message box to remove from screen.  Any input on how I can fix?  Had the issue for about 6 days now. Pops up every time I open Live Mail.

There was an error when attempting to connect to the Windows Live Calendar service. If the error persists, check to see if there's an upgrade of Windows Live Mail available or contact a service representative.

Hi

I am using Windows Live Mail 2012 on a Windows 7 machine for Email and Hotmail Calendar. I have some calendars which i have added myself and colour coded and an imported calendar within the Calendar.

For years this has worked well but today several issues have occurred.

1) All the calendars within Windows Live Mail Calendar have turned to the same colour (pink) so i cannot see which Event belongs to which calendar.

2) Some calendars have duplicated themselves in the tick list of calendars. e.g. there are two called "calendar" and another two called "Calendar" and an imported calendar appears three times with an identical name.

3) My imported calendar, although it appears three times in the tick list, and is ticked three times, is not showing any of its events. If i go to Calendar on the internet, the events are there.

4) Conversely, one of my calendars does show its events in Windows Live Mail, but is not showing its events on Calendar on the internet.

Please could you advise on fixing these issues

thanks ...

Using Windows 7, I have just turned the PC on and Live Mail has "recovered" my mail. While the In Box is fine, the various folders under Storage are either fine, or totally corrupted where all emails in a single folder are all the same (one of the emails seems to be saved over all), are a strange mix or are just "Message cannot be found". Does anyone know how to get a restore off the server where I assume the originals are stored?

Hi

I am trying to add a 2nd e-mail address but keep getting this message.  I have checked all the details are correct but still have the same issue.  Any help would be much appreciated.  Thanks.
