I cannot receive or send emails from my Live Email Address in Windows Live Mail

I cannot receive or send emails from my Live Email Address in Windows Live Mail, however I can send and receive emails in Windows Live Mail with my westnet email address, what is happening?

 

I also get this error message:

contacts in windows live cannot be deleted as from field is blank

I am using Windows live mail and I find some 97 contacts where the From field is blank and hence windows live mail does not allow me to delete the same. In case of other contacts the From field has "Address book", "Linked in" and "Face book". I know I cannnot delete "Linked in" and "Face book" contacts as they come from these sites, but how do I delete the contacts where From field is blank. Also, when I did a search for contacts.edb, I find there are multiple contacts.edb on my computer and it seems that this may be causing the problem. So if I know which one to keep and which one to delete ? then may be the issue gets resolved.

I receive this error when I sync the account to download messages. This account has worked well for many years. I have another account that syncs at the same time and it works just fine. I checked the outbox and it is empty. I'm at a loss where to go next.

no contacts in wml when not logged in

If I try to use window mail live when offline I have no contacts when creating a mail or forwarding one. Is this the nature of wml? 

I am new to windows 8 and used to outlook express and winmail in windows 7 and vista.  New computer. Share internet with others and is difficult to be online 24/7.  Thanks for any help.

Windows Live Mail question: Looking for something that, on Lotus Notes, is called “permanent pen”.

 The "permanent pen" is a font and color that the user can set up, and which, when set, will be used in any email the user responds to. This has been a very nice feature if you are responding to an email by typing your comments within the email you're responding to since it makes your responses stand out and you don't need to keep resetting the font and color whenever you move to another spot in the email. Does Windows Live Mail have such a feature? I've searched for it but don't know what it might be called in Live Mail, if indeed it even has such a thing.

When I put a event in Calendar it does not come up as a reminder in my e-mail. Why not?

Running Windows 7.   Using Windows Live Mail for my e-mail.  If I put an event in the calendar shouldn't it automatically show up on that day in my e-mail as a reminder?  How do I get this to happen?

Getting rid of warnings when sending an email

Sending email from Windows Live Mail. 2 pop ups come up before I can send my email message. 1 says don't have digital ID the other says don't encrypt or encrypt. How do I get rid of these?

For the past two days and intermittently last week i have been recieiving this message when i try to access my e-mail, My messenger works fine and tells me i have new mail and when i try to open my hotmail through windows live mail i get the following error message,

 

Unable to send or receive messages for the Hotmail (roadshark60) account.

Also on occassion it will download some of the e-mails and some come through ok where as some others that do make it to my inbox will get the error message of,

 

Message could not be displayed

Windows Live Mail encountered an unexpected problem while displaying this message. Check your computer for low memory or low disk space and try again.

 

 Now i have checked my memory useage as suggested on one of your previous pages and it seems to be fine and as well my other non hotmail e-mail accounts still work perfectly. I have also done a complete system care sweep which includes a registry clean up as well as deleting the temp internet files, fixing shortcut errors and many other functions to keep my computer running smooth and clean.  ( i use advanced system care 5 ) I have also tried rebooting my computer as well and the same problem still persists.

 

Since my hotmail seems to not be working at this point in time. If you could send a copy of your reply to my alternate address of (removed for security reasons) it would be appreciated so i can see what the problem is and or if the problem is with my machine or the server or on the internet itself.

on Jan 1ast my Windows live mail account no longer receives mail-=–I can send, just not receive.

I have made no changes to my computer, yet my Incredimail account sends and receives just find, as do my gmail and yahoo accounts. Windows Live mail no longer will receive any mail.
