Okay so I'm running windows 8.1 (that ive upgraded last week)

While in windows 8, i managed to install essentials as I wanted to use movie maker, but a few weeks ago it disappeared from my computer

I tried to install essentials again but it just went straight to 'done' and closed.

I upgraded to 8.1, thinking it would help fix it, but it didnt

I tried to install essentials again but it says "you have a newer version, uninstall it if you want the previous"

so I was like " yeah, okay, how?"

Ive been looking around for help and people say to uninstall it with with some program or through control panel, but in both, it isnt shown as an option to uninstall.
