When I go to sign out of Windows Live Essentials email, I cannot find any log out button, anywhere. I tried clicking on profile, at the top right, but there is no option to sign out, only sign into another account. At first I just let it go, but now that my dad has had his email account hacked, and all his emails deleted, I am very concerned.

I have tried researching it on the net, and I am seeing a lot of people asking this same question. There have been a number of suggestions, but I am not comfortable with with going into tools, accounts, and removing my account, as one person suggested. It was also suggested I uncheck save my password. I tried that, and it still didn't work.

It is very important that I maintain security of my email, by signing out when I am not using it. It took my dad, and me, three days to re-establish his account with all his contacts. Luckily he had them backed-up on a flash drive, but I had to re-enter them all back in by hand.

Thank you for any info regarding this serious security issue.
